Moxy Bordeaux Hotel

"I love the location, it was right next to the water and around the corner from Les Halles de Bacalan - the property is owned and operated by Biltoki. I got the best coffee and croissants ever. I got one each day and a croissant right across from it. It was full of so many different types of food, bakery, cheese and coffees. This hotel is located a few moments from the Tram stop which was great. Also, a stones throw away from the Wine Museum which is a must see. What I didn't like about the hotel: 1) The air-conditioning was not great, I think they should have in each guest rooms a portable fan. Not matter how many times we adjusted the air it was not doing its job. We were there doing a heat wave in August. 2) No lotion in the bathroom, they had shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap. 3) The lighting in the bathroom was great, but the room no lights in the ceiling and the lights in the room was not enough. and 4) I shared a room with my friend (female) the two twin beds were small. Please make them bigger. LOL. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, the staff was incredible but the air conditioning not working almost took me out."

"My daughter and I loved everything. We stayed for 5 nights during a heat wave so the pool was much used and much appreciated. Everyone was helpful, professional and friendly. We dined in the restaurant daily and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. We’d like to give a special recognition to Lisa at the front desk. She was patient and diligent in having our air conditioner working properly. Great customer service. Many thanks to all for making our first trip to Bordeaux memorable and wonderful."

"Truly a five-star experience. Everything was immaculate and thoughtfully considered. Some of the most pleasant front desk staff I’ve ever encountered in my travels. Service at the hotel restaurant was painfully slow but the restaurant staff were very pleasant nonetheless. Very comfortable bedding, it was hard to get up out of bed in the morning. Room was very spacious by European standards and finely decorated."

"The breakfast was very good, and the staff also , it would be nice if you offered bar snacks as you offer beer . I know the hotel is three star so I didn’t expect a restaurant , but maybe a few snacks in a self service machine and microwave ? But overall very good, the room was clean and the bed was superb! And the room was quiet "

"Location great for having a car. Transport into and of Bordeaux was easy. Uber was straightforward as was the tram. We arrived and it was hot! Pool was very much welcome, but no shade around the pool area and one umbrella (1 of 2) was broken so very little shade by the bar area. Shame as only downside to a lively hot."
