this hotel seems recently updated and the interiors and rooms are really nice in this hotel class. Rooms look nice and are well-equipped and clean (and quiet). The exteriors could use a bit of paint to make it look more friendly and less like a dead building in a dead zone. The exterior might dissuade people to stay there, while it is really a nice, modern hotel on the edge of Bordeaux that I will remember next time I'm in the area.

Not the Novotel standard we know! Reception was good, very helpful and smiling. Room was very clean. Bar staff was very good. But breakfast was very bad organised. All 3 mornings we experienced missing food and even a broken coffee maschine. And staff was not very helpful and no smiles on their faces. The halls and other inside areas was not as clean as we see in other Novotels. We Will never stay there again.

We stayed in Novotel Bordeaux Lac for 5 days and had a lovely time! Our room was comfortable and clean, the food at the hotel restaurant was very nice, the staff kind and helpful and our 9 year old son also enjoyed the games room which had an XBox and a bar football. Highly recommended!
