This is likely because it is a jury rigged space heater that was stuck in the wall at some point to replace another heating method. The heater in the bathroom did not work at all and there was no blinds. This allowed someone to see into parts of the room at night and you would not be able to tell (there were thin curtains). Kitchen does not have some basic utensils and is not fully supplied (as advertised) - fortunately there is a Food Lion nearby where we bought what should have been supplied. Sofa and chairs did not feel clean and we put a sheet over the sofa. Beds and bed linens were good and clean.
