"The rooms are extremely comfortable and the hosts were very helpful and very accommodating. They provide dinner on request and the food was superb. Breakfast also excellent. "Staff were superb, the view from the hotel was fantastic towards the old city/ castle and a short walk across the old bridge to the old town was 5 mins. The hotel had an indoor swimming pool which we used, it was clean and fresh towels were sat on the recliners next to the pool. We stayed on a bed and breakfast and every morning you had the choice of cooked, fresh ham, cheese and pastries. A small niggled for me was the dinner menu never changed the whole time we were there and we felt it could had a bit of a difference but each to their own. A great stay made easier by the staff and standard of service. I would recommend a stay here 100%"

"Transport of luggage (and us) to and from the secure parking outside the City walls was excellent and well organised. Well worth the money. Hotel staff were all friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. "

Beautiful hotel on the walls of the city

"Loved our stay at this hotel! It was a former bishops palace right next to the cathedral and right by the rampart walls. Absolutely beautiful location. We had a room in the building across the way. Large room with view of the church. Very quiet though! Super comfortable bed. We had dinner there on the terrace and it was so good with a great view! Only issue was that our shower wouldn’t drain. Other than that it was perfect! "

"I liked: The location, just before the bridge to the Forteresse, and with a nice overall view of the Forteresse from my balcony. A large very nice room. The balcony with nice vegetation. A really full buffet breakfast (North American style but with great croissants, etc) Staff that were nice and helpfull. I walked everywhere, from and to train station, to restaurants, to the Forteresse."

"The apartment was spacious. 1 bedroom, and sofa bed in living/kitchen area. Very clean and great air-conditioning. Kitchen/cooking area was basic but adequate for a short stay. Reception was welcoming and spacious. Staff were very pleasant and nothing was any bother. Breakfast was self service with good choices of cheese, bread and pastries. Parking was reasonable at 10 euros per night in a secure under building car park. The hotel was very close to the "old city" and the city centre. Both within easy walking distance. "
