We loved our stay here, the rooms are comfortable, quiet and clean, the hot tub uses fresh water from the nearby source, the breakfast was great and the location good for exploring Husavik and Lake Myvatin area

The host was lovely and welcoming. The room was comfortable and great for 3 people. The hot tub cement and heated by geothermal was incredible. it was very clean, well maintained, everything worked. It was more like a farm family hotel. The surroundings were picturesque. Being able to go see their horses was magical. Breakfast was home made and filling, you want for nothing here! Totally recommend!

Very pretty and clean room on a beautiful location. Peacefull and quiet. Check in and out super fast and easy. Easy to reach the hosts. Beds comfortable. Nice breakfast. Plenty of parking. Surounded by greenery. Nothing but fresh air. Would stay there again for sure.

Cozy accommodations. Room was small and simple but comfortable. Booked a room with a private bathroom. Room had an electric kettle and instant coffee and some tea. Breakfast buffet is available by reception in the morning and it’s pretty tasty. Cereal, toast, eggs, fruit, etc. Would certainly consider staying here again.

We had reserved 3 rooms, all having a single king bed (because that was the only option online). Two of our party needed individual beds, and the proprietress gave them the option of another room. All 3 rooms had mountain views (and the views were astounding). They had a spa that looked like it was fashioned out of a concrete horse trough, and it was marvelous. Breakfast was also excellent.

Nice 1 night stay

It was a nice stay for one evening on the ring road itinerary. Midges were excessive but that was no fault to the guesthouse. Unfortunately because of the midges we couldn’t open the window for some fresh air. Would definitely be nice to have a fan in the room for a little air circulation during midge season

Very nice guesthouse close to the Ring Road. Super spacious room with a clean private restroom, quiet, and easy parking. Large and delicious breakfast buffet, and the host and other employees were very warm and friendly. One note -- We arrived rather late after 10pm (not planned), and we were fortunate that another couple was checking in at the same time. In general, you'd need to call a number to have the host open the reception and check you in, which isn't possible without a SIM card and/or WiFi. So if there's a chance you may check in on the later side, I'd recommend informing the property and updating them of your ETA as you get closer when you have WiFi. Would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!
