The Hampton Inn knocked our socks off. I chose to book it, as it listed “NO RESORT FEE” in the name of their hotel on Expedia. That was enough to grab my attention. Vegas hotels have been ripping folks off for years now with their stupid resort fees. And, people are tired of it. Which is why it was really smart of Hilton to market this property this way. I mean, what are they charging you for? Access to a swimming pool? Swimming pools are standard for all hotels and motels. Even Motel 6 has them.
Anyhoo … the parking was easy, though I didn’t like that they charged us $19/night. We had a room right on the ground floor near an exit door, which made it super convenient for doggie potty breaks. The room was clean, nice, and spacious. We really loved the outside area around the pool, which was quiet, relaxed, and nicely decorated. One of the best parts about the stay was the breakfast. It was more than the typical hotel breakfast, with a huge selection and spacious dining room. Or, you could eat outside in the lovely pool area if you wanted.
We loved it and will plan to book here whenever we’re in Vegas. It’s close enough to the strip so it’s easy to access but without all the stress and expense of staying on the strip. Don’t expect a lot of dining options in walking distance, but then again, this is Vegas. It’s pretty easy to drive to wherever you want to go.
