Our stay at Casa do Rio was exceptional. There are 10 rooms with stunning views of the Douro River and vineyards. The grounds are lovely with an infinity pool overlooking the river and two semi private fresh water dunking pools. The food and was outstanding! We made our dinner selections earlier in the day and were treated to an exquisite...

We had a wonderful two nights at this peaceful oasis. The silo rooms are charming, clean, and comfortable, with beautiful views. Joao, the host, was accommodating, friendly, and welcoming. The food was great, really good breakfast, and a nice selection of snacks and wines on the lovely terrace. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway!

Our stay at the Colmeal Countryside Hotel was extraordinary ! We highly recommend it!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this location. Originally we were only going to stay one night but then ended up staying an additional two nights. The property was beautiful and conveniently located. The whole staff treated us like family specially Agnes. She was amazing. She was so helpful and even booked our dinner reservations one night. She’s the reason that we had no hesitation booking additional nights

This is a great hotel in an antique Palacio. Our bed room was very impressive with 3 feet stone walls and a private balcony on Plaza Mayor. I recommend this hotel for its charm and authenticity.

Nicely decorated small B&B right in the historic center. Tasty varied breakfast. Friendly Manager.

Awesome place with in a quiet, rural place.Beautiful sunset view, delicious food, great breakfast, nice room, and kind staff are just few of its highlights. Highly recommended if you want to have a real and peaceful rest close to the Douro area.

This bnb is a gem in every way. The location in the historic district is perfect. You can walk everywhere. Car parking is very easy on the street. The bnb itself is stunning and comfortable. I don't usually write reviews but had to here. Amazing host who goes out of her way to make sure everything is perfect! Great rooms and breakfast at a nice location close to many Medieval villages. Highly recommend staying here!

The outside is deceiving Cousy place with excellent service Almost as a big family home Comfortable small room with everything you need great breakfast and nice courtyard

Nice place in historic town. Room was large, clean, and bed was comfortable. Town is walkable, I walked from the bus stop. The hotel has a restaurant and the breakfast is nice, they set up a taxi service and they were nice. I did use cash in town and for the taxi which was appreciated. Everyone was so nice even though I didn't speak Portuguese.
