"DO NOT BOOK THIS LOCATION...EVER!!! The owner double booked his house in August 2025 and when we arrived to check in, another family was there. He didn't care that he double booked it and we had to find another place to stay at 10 pm at night in a country we don't live in. He didn't care and now will not even refund us for the payment when we didn't even stay there. Absolutely unacceptable for a family of four to be displaced because of his negligence. And we're equally disappointed in Expedia...

"From beginning to end our stay was truly amazing The staff especially Maria and Nikos on reception were so so friendly and helpful Gorjuss hotel fantastic complimentary mini bus into town And back Rooms great. Slippers The Hill hotel restaurant fantastic service amazing food Superb breakfast buffet Thought of everything I would definitely recommend and I will certainly be visiting again "

"Overall amazing experience. Very clean, food was varied and tasty. Only downside is the beach was close, but there is no sunbeds for free. You need to pay to rent the sunbeds, as they are owned by another hotel. Service in the hotel was very good and prompt, they were very helpful throughout our stay. Definetely worth it if you just want a couple days of relax and enjoying inside. "

"The lounge offered a very culturally diverse breakfast bar or you could order from the breakfast menu as part of the included breakfast. The staff was out of their way helpful, and they are able to help with booking a car or other excursions on the island of Crete. They responded to all of our requests with grace, kindness and over the top accommodation. It is just outside of Chania city so quieter with big city comforts."
