Der Zustand und der Komfort des Hotels ist für ein 4-Sterne Haus mit den aufgerufenen Preisen komplett katastrophal (runter gekommene Bruchbude). Unverschämtheit!!!

„Lebe lieber ungewöhnlich!“ heißt es in einer Broschüre des Hotels und ungewöhnlich im besten beschreibt das Hotel sehr treffend. Über Geschmack lässt sich bekanntlich trefflich streiten aber aus unserer Sicht ist das Lux ein sehr gelungen und individuell eingerichtetes Haus. Letztlich noch viel wichtiger: Sowohl die Inhaberfamilie als auch das Personal sind uns durchgehend mit herzlicher Freundlichkeit begegnet.

Top staff, top food and a great experience

Stayed here pre Xmas for a few days of ski action with the family. Hotels in ski resorts need to find a balance of comfort and cosines, with modern facilities and practicality. The Luxe Alpina does this very well. Located up the road from the ski area was no issue as a free shuttle service whisked us to the main lift in 3 minutes. The food is plentiful and of a high standard - the chef clearly cares about his craft. The wine list is intelligent too - lots of local choice as well as some great finds from across Europe. All well priced. Rooms are practical and bathrooms spacious and modern. My only gripe was bed and pillow comfort that didn’t deliver me a sound night sleep. The service was superb from everybody - they made our stay so much more enjoyable. Friendly, helpful and personal from the minute we arrived. Would return on this basis alone. If you are heading to St Anton I would recommend this hotel without any hesitation. Whilst not in the main village the upsides from the people, the food and the hospitality far out way the short walk to town.

Nice hotel with only 28 rooms. Lux is a contemporary art hotel with an exclusive kitchen. normal booking offers half board which is indeed recommended. good experience and an extreme view from the rooms. the hotel is carved directly into the mountain.

Vom Design des Hotels, dem reichhaltigen Frühstücksbuffet und den feinen Abendmenüs waren wir beeindruckt. Leider liessen die Sauberkeit in den Zimmern und die Aufmerksamkeit des Personals zu wünschen übrig. Wir werden kein Hotel in einem deutschsprachigen Land weiterempfehlen, in welchem man mit dem Servicepersonal Englisch sprechen muss, da es selbst zu wenig Deutsch versteht.

der Teufel steckt im Detail

Architektonisch sehr interessant und ausgesprochen freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Das alleine rechtfertigt jedoch nicht 4 Sterne und den Preis. Überwiegend nur englisch sprechendes Servicepersonal, die keine Ahnung haben, wie man eine 60 Euroflasche dekantiert (die Flasche wird zum Entleeren in das Dekantierglas gestülpt. Danach wird dreimal geschüttelt und anschließend über den Handrücken eingeschenkt. Der Saunabereich hat den Charme einer Bahnhofswartehalle. 7 Neonröhren sorgen für hellstes Taglicht. Die großen Hinweisplakate "bitte Ruhe" und Respekt sind nur Dekoration. Dort ist es genauso laut und umtriebig wie beim Abendessen. Der Shuttleservice ins Dorf und zur Skistation ist sicherlich großzügig, aber, Skiausrüstung ein- und ausladen, Türen öffnen und schließen, das muss man genauso wie zu Hause selber machen.

Great food and service but not exactly your classic alp hotel. Very odd - but mostly fun interior (not the yellow bathrooms though). Quite short walk into town and good shuttle service.

Great hotel, perfect for skiing and enjoying the apres ski in Sankt Anton, and the dinner is superb, one of the best hotel dinners I ever had! The staff is great, super friendly! Upon arrival, as we were arriving late, they kept some dinner for us despite being outside of dinner time so we could have a bite! I couldn't recommend it more!

Hotellet er en god blanding av rå-betong bygg med enkel standard på rommene men også med en moderne og trivelig restaurant/bar/frokostsal. Det er ingenting i umiddelbar nærhet til hotellet. Ikke aircondition på rommet, så vi sov med vinduet åpent. Hotellet ligger kloss intill veien, som medfører litt veistøy. Veien er ikke veldig travel, men likevel ikke egnet til å gå langs på vintertid. Gratis transport med minibuss løste det problemet.

Fint hotell med store og renslige rom. God frokost og middag! Veldig hyggelig betjening og god service. Hotellet hadde løpende "busstjeneste"til sentrum, noe som var et stort pluss for oss som var på alpintur. Hotellet har avslappingsområde med badstuer, men dette tilbudet kunne vært noe utvidet.

nichts los

nichts offen (in ganz St.Anton ist nichts los) hätte man auf der Hompage melden "können) die Frühstücksbrötchen, nur eine Sorte, sind "schlabbermäßig" ohne Körner. Käse und Wurst abgezählt. Am schlimmsten sind die Fenster, wo die obere hälfte nicht zu verdunkeln sind, so ist man ab 5 Uhr wach ! der Straßenlärm ist noch zu ertragen.
