"I stayed for 1 week; this was my first time staying at the resort.
The
Staff: Most of the staff were wonderful. Special shout out to Telisha, Brant and Devenne. They were exceptional at their jobs and truly made an effort to be helpful, warm and welcoming.
Something was amiss with the breakfast staff. They were not welcoming nor overly helpful.
Room: I stayed in a tower suite and the room showed some wear, but it was spacious and clean. The mattress was extremely hard and the resort could not offer a solution (ex, topper or switch out mattress). If you do not like a firm mattress, you will have a problem sleeping.
We had water pressure issues a few days; ranging from water only trickling out of the faucet to no water at all for short periods of time.
Restaurant: The food was mediocre, which was surprising, because I had been to the restaurant in July ‘25 and enjoyed it. Service was slow, but the staff was friendly.
Grounds: The grounds are pretty. Pool maintenance could be improved and a number of the loungers need repair. There are 4 different pools areas which provides options for the guests.
Bakery: The ice cream at the bakery is wonderful, just like the staff.
The hotel offered me a free shuttle to the airport upon my departure which was a nice gesture. "
"Location was great. Close to SGU campus, off site restaurants were good. Grounds, pools, and facility were very nice. Breakfast was included but food on the buffet was cold. You can choose made to order omelets, waffles, pancakes, or hot cereal but bacon, potatoes, sausage, scrambled eggs, and any other hot foods were all on the buffet and cold. On the weekends the buffet breakfast is open to the public and they could not keep up with the volume. Restaurants on site were just okay in terms of menu, quality, and taste. Room furniture worn and tired. Bath was clean and updated. "
"The room was large & lovely and kept immaculately clean during our stay.
The food was the best I have had anywhere in all of my travels!
The staff & the service they provided was always exceptional!!!! Best staff ever..."
