Outstanding staff takes care of your every need. The property is clean and a nice safe oasis from the chaos of the surrounding city. I recommend Hotel Timila - and will stay there again when I return to Nepal.

Very cozy and traditional, close to everything for Lalitpur

The accommodation is located within short walking distances to a lot of cafes and attractions. It is a very lovely place with wonderful in-room facilities and is very clean and homely. The hot shower was fantastic. Above all else, the owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. They made our stay superbly comfortable and enjoyable. Kudos to them.

Excellent

We had such a wonderful stay here. The owner was so welcoming. Breakfast was delicious!

Attractive, brand-new boutique hotel, on quiet street in very safe neighborhood. Close to nice cafes, restaurants, and shopping district. The area attracts quite a few expats who work in local NGO’s. Easy taxi ride to Pātan Durbar Square but you can also walk. Fifteen-minute taxi ride to Thamel and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Would stay here again over better-known and loud Thamel tourist neighborhood.

First time in Kathmandu, picked this for it's fabulous location in a vibrant artsy neighborhood near Patan Darbur Square as a friend was staying nearby. I am so very happy I picked this place. Wonderful historic place with a wing added that is more modern but in keeping with the original architecture, the room I booked was in the new section so the ceilings are high and the windows face over the courtyard to the original part of the hotel. The courtyard is delightful, providing a calm...

This a gorgeous traditional home that has been renovated to ensure guests have modern conveniences in beautiful surroundings. We had a delightful lunch in their cafe as well.

Pretty convenient location, spacious grounds, wonderful staff.

One of the best hotels I've stayed at anywhere in the world, beautiful, traditional, small and very kind hotel staff.

I lived in Patan, Nepal in 2006 and have returned several times to reconnect with my "Nepali Family" and the one of kind culture of the Kathmandu Valley. The Inn Patan is a treasured restoration of a traditional Newari home, and is a moments walk to Patan's Durbar Square. The property is extremely quiet, the on-site restaurant is excellent, and the staff are consistently wonderful and accommodating. My husband, friend and I throughly enjoyed our stay and will stay at The Inn Patan when we return...

I have stayed here several times when in Kathmandu. The staff are friendly and helpful and I find it convenient to many coffee shops and restaurants. The rooms are quieter than other places I have stayed in Nepal

We had a good experience from checkin to departure. The staff were friendly and very helpful but didn't hover over us. Our spacious room, the restaurant and the facilities in general are well maintained, pleasantly decorated and clean. Hot water for a shower was plentiful. This hotel obviously has a history in the area and the owner/manager take pride in providing a quality experience for guests. There is another excellent restaurant right next door. All in all I rate the Clarion very highly and...

The hotel felt the most clean of all of the places that we had stayed over the prior month in India and Nepal - this includes the "3 and 4 star" hotels, which often times just look clean on the surface. The owner was one of the most friendly people who we have encountered in Nepal, and helped to make sure that our taxi driver got us there safely, as well as when we left. 5 or 6 block walk from Durbar sqare. Breakfast was great. Internet and power worked. The only downside was that we...

Noce

Convenient, clean, comfortable

Great place. Friendly and very helpful staff. Charming room. Great location. Safe and clean. We'll stay again.

Wonderful stay at the hotel. It was perfect location in a quieter area but still close to main road where can get transport easily to move around. Many lovely restaurants and cafe in area and safe to walk around with less traffic also by hotel. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. I enjoyed my stay and will come back again.
