「Beautiful Victorian style hotel. Hotel is clean and maintained but is dated and a musty smell in the room. Parking is definitely on a slanted hillside. Staff were cordial but not overly friendly. I give the breakfast a B. Dennys restaurant & Krispy Kreme doughnuts next door. Tanger outlet very close.」

Breakfast was good but I wish there had been some bacon and a few other choices but they kept bringing food out and kept the buffet stocked well. The dining room workers were very nice. 「Could not ask for better budget friendly accommodations. Staff was very friendly, polite and responsive even after hours. The room was clean, the linens smelled great, and the grounds were well maintained. We didn't go in the pool so I can't comment on that. We had two queen beds and they were both comfy. The blackout curtains worked great and the TV, fridge and microwave worked well. The A/C was a bit noisy but it worked really well. There is a quiet street behind the motel where you can walk...

「Been historically hot this time around with yards and outdoor common areas showing a lot of stress; watering would have helped. Have stayed here for over 20 years--noticed this time rooms (while superficially clean) carpets were not vacuumed nor kitchen tile cleaned upon arrival. Once again, clean enough but not up to standards experienced in the past. Now a special shout out to Kim and Wes in the maintenance department for their quick response in switching out our freezer which...
