「Second stay here and its just as we remember. Staff is so nice, the room was so nice and comfortable. Everyone was accommodating and helpful. Im dealing with some health issues. When I get better, we want to return for sure and do some exploring」

「A very secluded, private park-like setting in a quiet residential neighborhood. The old lodge and rooms have been thoughtfully and beautifully restored. I'd stay here every time vs a hotel. The value was superior.」

「Facility is old but serious efforts have been made to update. New dropped ceilings, fairly new furnishings, new paint, quaint etc. Very clean and comfortable. I had very limited contact with staff, but that was pleasant. There was some road noise but not terrible. Spacious parking was at the room entry. Some of the room photos are misleading. Be sure to designate whether you was street front or creek side. Also be prepared for a 3% credit card charge. The most serious negative was the high step...

Clean, upgraded, very luxurious! We had two elk wander in to drink from the pond and they were so beautiful! I highly recommend this property and can’t wait to return!」

「This is a Hotel from the early 20th century. It has wonderful character. It doesn't have AC but does not really need it due to being up in the mountains at about 3500 ft. a room fan and open window was more than adequate. We had small issue with a smoke detector battery getting low and the detector started chirping at 4 in the moring. They don't have over night staff so it was fixed in the morning while we were out and fixed by noon. They do have a weekend breakfast that was very good. ...
