「Shore front was great. Beautiful part of Lake Erie. No amenities in the room though. No refrigerator or coffee maker in the room. It would have been nice to have coffee or tea later in the evening in the room. Their coffee shop closes too early in the evening.」

「More toilet paper in the room would be helpful. Soap next to the bathroom sink would also be nice. My wife reported wet sheets in her bed, so she moved into my bed (I'm not complaining). At 8:15 am, the fire alarm in our room went off. We were sleeping. It is an understatement to say that this was startling. The good news is there was no fire. I look at a trip to South Bass Island as an adventure, so all of this was part of the adventure.」

「I have stayed at a dozen properties around Put In Bay and I can say without a doubt, the Anchor Inn is the best place I have found. Close to downtown, reasonably priced for the quality and service, cleanliness of the room and property, quality of the breakfast and food offerings, thoughtful touches throughout the room and lobby.
