「Family that runs it is fantastic! Rooms are clean and comfortable with a view worth it alone! Quiet and the landscaping is beautiful! The restaurant is a must, I run a beef ranch and the ribeye was definitely one of the top 3 I’ve ever eaten! Will recommend and will be staying here again!」

「Lovely quiet area to stay. We speak very little Spanish, they were so willing and patient with communication. The porch area was lovely. We enjoyed rocking and having an evening drink. There is a small store about a mile away. We went to bed early and were so surprised that 4 other couples were there for breakfast. Breakfast was a “typical” and very good. 」

「We loved our stay at Hotel Volcan Verde. This hotel used to be known as Arenal History Inn up through about three months ago. It's near downtown La Fortuna, and tons of restaurants and shops are within an easy walk. With that being said, the hotel cabins are just off of the street enough that you feel like you are in a different world. (FYI, many hotels in this region, some of which are very pricey and opulent, are nowhere close to the downtown of La Fortuna.) There is also tons of parking spots...
