My only complaint was the lack of transparency for requested early check in. I would prefer a ‘no’ rather than we will see and call you.. I checked every 30 min for status. If i knew it would never happen then I would have made other plans during that time. Expectations matter. "

"Really unique space, which was awesome and the staff were great! However, my room really didn’t match what I had booked, there wasn’t any hot water in my room, and the towel rack fell out of the wall. So just a few things that detracted from the stay, but quiet and comfortable otherwise and beach access down the street. "

"I booked at 14 west because it was in my budget, and it is a good place to stay. It is not as close to the beach as I thought since construction blocked Cleo street acces. Also, the downtown wasn't as close as I thought, and walking the busy coast highway to get there was not pleasant to me. I loved all the trails in the wilderness closeby, and Crystal Cove State Park. The Taco Stand across the street had the best tacos I ever had"
