「During my check-in yesterday, I noticed that the bedding (bed sheets, duvet cover, and pillowcases) did not appear to have been freshly changed. 「I arrived to “we don’t have a room available” I had booked this weeks in advance. Walking in it smelled like cigarettes and filth. The staff was not very friendly, did not greet us upon arrival and didn’t try to help us. Person, I believe the one in charge said “I tried to call you, but there was no number” hmm how did you try to call if there was no number. Must have been a blessing in disguise because I can’t imagine the rooms were any better.」

「On the one hand, I feel bad, as this property is maintained by what seems to be a small family of perhaps three people. On the other hand, the quality of the property is seriously questionable. The property is older and has been poorly maintained. The television in the room didn't work. The air conditioner leaked all over the floor overnight with condensation. When checking out, I tried to locate a member of staff to alert them to the AC issue, but no one was around, even when I rang the bell...

「The hotel itself was great! The train coming through at all hours of the night multiple times was rough. The train woke us up so many times. The beds were very firm and the pillows were flat. The staff was amazing and helpful. The towels were always fresh when we got back from being out all day. I would come back if the train was not coming through at all hours.」
