Kaparkan Water Falls The Philippines 🇵🇭 is famous for its many rice terraces and so it was a pleasant surprise for me to learn about Kaparkan Water Falls which I personally describe as a beautiful cascading "water terraces"! The gods must have wanted this place for themselves that they made this gem of nature so remote and extremely difficult to get to. Unpaved roads make for a slow and super bumpy destination but the stunning views of green hills and mountains along the way sure makes up for it! The grass and trees are lush and bright green. This is also one of the very few places I have been to that is really clean! No trash or plastics along the way and on this very spot! 👍🏻 The trail is not accessible by ordinary vehicles. Only "monster trucks" are capable of getting adventurers through this "hell ride"! The truck ride by itself is an adventure and frankly, the highlight of the trip for me. A few minutes into the drive, after putting the chains on the wheels, I got unseated unceremoniously and earned myself a few bruises enough for me to give up filming so that I can use both my hands to hold on for dear life! Ar-arbis Falls in Sitio Baybayatin, Lagayan, Abra got it's name from the way water trickles down through the trees like "arbis" Ilocano word for drizzle. #nature #naturephotocontest
It was a beautiful scene; as the afternoon sun peeks through the trees covering the limestone terraced pools of Kaparkan. I have yet to see these pools on a bright evening under a fullmoon. #kaparkanfalls #localsecrets
Kaparkan season has ended. It's time for it to have a rest from tourists. I hope the dry season will be good to it. #kaparkanfalls

Disappointed and Unsatisfied
Fell short of our expectation. Overly priced for the poor facilities. Food is terrible and overly priced. Rooms are rundown. Lots of mosquitoes and the pool is not that clean. The beach area has goats and dogs roaming around. I will definitely not recommend this hotel unless they improve.
