It transpired that the room was almost at the furthest point one could be from the reception area and involved a number of changes of direction and finally a very steep and narrow staircase with literally no landing outside the room. 「Hotel Killarney is a great hotel. The staff are friendly enough, the hotel and rooms are spacious, the amenities are great and the hotel itself is sprawling with many corridors that makes it feel like the Shining (in a good way!). The staff were very accommodating and the check-in/out process was very simple and efficient! The room was clean, with enough trinkets to keep you satisfied with lots of space.
