「This was the 4th time staying at the George and for the last 2 times ive a room with a very small tv.
So s.all on this stay that watching the football i had difficulty seeing who was who and were the ball was.
Otherwise the staff are friendly the meal i had very good.
Next time unless i have a room with the bigger tv screen i wont be able to book.

「The area was lovely, we walked around and explored the park and streets alike. We hadn’t realised the dads army connection, which was a lovely discovery.
Unfortunately at night we were disturbed by loud noises from people nearby the property and obviously outside of your control.」

They provided great service and every meal was delicious. The Thomas Paine Museum was of special interest and full of information for this history buff. We cant wait to book our next trip.」

Hotel is in a super location on the bridge with views of the river and just a short walk to shops and amenities. Very friendly - will always go back when visiting Thetford area.」

「The propertys owner helped me book breakfast, which was beautiful, when we arrived, helped me with my belongings, the room was lovely and big, it's a beautiful town with affordable Uber transport 」
「Lots of gangs of kids hanging around, and not a safe feeling area. Property lacked basic things that you’d expect in a hotel. No one on site to contact to rectify things. Not a good place to stay. 」

The complimentary breakfast was top rate, lovely choices including cold and hot breakfast options as well as gluten free options. Our room was quiet and well appointed: comfortable bed, spacious room, wardrobe and en-suite bathroom.
Staff were gracious and welcoming.
We enjoyed walking to local restaurants in Newmarket. The Jockey Club is a fantastic place to stay. 」
