"Room was clean enough as was the property, however really needs lots of upgrades. My room was way in the back, I am sure there were open rooms closer to the front. The hallway in the back it was so hot I couldn’t stand it out there. When I left to grab dinner I was very uncomfortable when I stepped outside. An old beat up van parked next to my car had 4 younger males that were sketchy looking. There was another 20 something year old guy standing against the building, he also looked sketchy. Made me very uncomfortable. When I returned from dinner I parked in the front, which was way out of my way to get to my room. I at least felt more comfortable."

"We can't say enough about The Beer Lodge. It's tucked away amongst towering trees, with small trails to roam where you just might catch deers playing tag. It's like spending time in story book. We opted for a room with a patio, which made morning coffee just superb. The room was spacious, clean and had a wonderfully comfortable bed. It's a lovely balance of rustic lodge and cozy cabin. Paola and Phil were so kind and welcoming. In fact, everyone we met while on our stay were friendly and helpful. The Supper Club was equally charming and warm and the food was outstanding. My husband and I will absolutely be back. If it were possible to give 100 stars, we would."

"We went here for the first time as my husband and I celebrated our Anniversary. It was fabulous. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean. They had a great tiki bar and a restaurant right on the lake. Food was excellent. Such a beautiful site to see which made our trip very relaxing. We didn't get to use the pool as it looked like it was closed because the cover was on. The breakfast was nice, some of the better ones compared to other hotels. They had sausage, egg, cheese mcmuffins, danish, bagels, and muffins, cereal, yougarts, fruit, waffels, juice and coffee. A lot of attractions not far from there. If we stay in the area again we will definitely be back!!"
