A totally unique hotel, the hotel is a museum as well and it was lovely to have our breakfast amongst some interesting antiques, we were made to feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble for our host, would definitely recommend

Amazing place, a beautiful large room overlooking the patio, great renovated bathroom and a spacious walk-in closet. The location is perfect, just minutes away from the port. Highly recommend!

Michel and Beroze were lovely hosts, very warm and welcoming. Their place really is like staying in an elegant museum. It’s beautifully decorated with so much care and love. We had a lovely spacious room, clean and comfortable and beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed the history of the place and the access to lovely rooms throughout the building. The inner courtyard is very peaceful for that afternoon drink. Parking is 5 minutes walk away but you can drop your luggage off at the front red door which is great. The old town is a short walk away and we found La Rochelle to be a lovely place to visit. We had excellent recommendations for dinner from Beroze which we appreciated. All in all a memorable stay.

This property is a lovely historic house with beautiful decor and well appointed rooms. It is a very unique guest house with a lot of art, sculptures and antiques. The owners are very friendly. The continental breakfast was simple but a nice way to start the day. The Expedia description of the guesthouse says the property has a cafe, 18-hole golf course and 2 beach bars, which is not accurate. However, there is mini-golf and a river in the park nearby, but it's not part of the property. There is no daily housekeeping, but you can ask for clean towels.

You could not ask for a more unique and personal experience. Staying in a living museum and being treated like family, is something very special. All the restaurants and the ports are within a few minutes walk and the parking is a 10 minute walk.
