Staff was helpful at check in. Room was clean and close by my activities for the weekend. Checked out at 630a a day early and had to wake the night clerk up to hand in keys. Early departure was due to change of plans not the accommodations.I would stay there again when in the area

The staff was extremely nice and helpful when we had questions. Its an older hotel butit does have some nice amenities- the hot chocolate and massage chairs we're great. They also had a hot tub indoor outdoor pool and sauna. If you aren't expecting fancy you'll enjoy it. Also in a convenient location.

The young man, Nico that checked us in was great!! He handled our requests and concerns smoothly and quickly and correctly!! I grew up in this town and know that the hotel has been there for many years. My wedding night was there The hotel was under a bit of rehab so the restaurant and the bar were not open. It was ok because there is an abundance of restaurants to choose from. I want to acknowledge Nico and his unending great customer service!!!!!

We were a little disappointed that the hot tub was closed due to maintenence. Other than that we had a good stay. It was our second booking and we plan on booking the next time we go to Laporte.

The staff were amazing and friendly! Room was clean and updated. My only complaint was that the majority of the guests were odd and made me uncomfortable the first night. This hotel has a lot of potential and hope to see it grow and improve our next stay!!! Overall it was a great stay for my husband and I for a little get away. Hope the hot tub will be up and running next time as well.

Great affordable option for LaPorte area. Rooms are clean, and staff super friendly. Pool, steam shower & sauna. Free coffee and water in the mornings. If you need a lot of extras and ambience thia is not the place for you. If you want convience and support a family who is working on reviving a former chain hotel, then this IS the place for you! It was cute to see families playing bags in the central artrium. Quiet time is 10pm-10am.

Sink and shower did not drain well. Smokers all around the front entrance so to get in or out you had to walk in all their second hand smoke.With just a little work this could be a great hotel! The staff was friendly.

Location was doable distance to where we were going over weekend. When we got in room, there was dirty rags in tub and tv remote did not work. Attendant was amicable to get issue corrected. We were right by an elevator that did not work so had to go around facility to working one. I was surprised to see our charge was a little less than what was quoted on Expedia when we booked the room. Not updated but seemed like they are in process.
