"What an absolutely beautiful stay, in a stunning place. Our host was attentive and kind, and the food was wonderful. The hotel and rooms were spotlessly clean, and particularly for my needs on a road trip with my 18 year old son, the accommodation offering two adjoining bedrooms was perfect, and we could park outside. Also very good value in my opinion. I would definitely return, it’s also ideal for couples and I would love to bring my wife here. "

"We had a wonderful experience! The staff was kind and very helpful. Our room was stunning and very spacious for a family of 5! The breakfast was amazing, and all of the activities on site were very fun - we especially enjoyed the cooking class! I would absolutely love to return here. I recommend looking into and booking on-site activities in advance so you can get the most out of your experience!"

"Outside of city center however it was a nice reprieve from the noise and chaos. there are some wonderful neighborhood gems for restaurants and the bus runs regularly and reliably. Only negative was when we reached out to the host upon arriving at the building, the host took 10 minutes to reply and to remotely open the door which after a long day of travel and standing in 90*+ heat with multiple children outside, it was very frustrating. "Positives - Great set up. Clean, friendly, good price point, good location, good restaurant on site, very helpful reception....calling taxis and storing bags etc. The security guys are very helpful and friendly. Negatives - The shallow canals around the pools are great to relax in but they are very very slippy. Saw about a dozen people slip....us included. The pools are open to the general public to pay in. Fine during the week but not so good at the weekend. It gets incredibly busy at the weekend and very difficult to get a lounger and a parasol. You expect a few lounger issues on a sun holiday but this is crazy. The place is absolutely packed."

"This property is absolutely beautiful and amazing! If you want to relax while enjoying a beautiful scenic view, this is for you. If you want to walk around and explore, you can do that too. The staff are incredible and treated us very well. The shuttle to and from the hotel is a great amenity. The only complaint that we have is that the bedroom walls are a little thin and you can hear neighbors if you have them. Other than that, everything else about this place is awesome. It's up in the hills and out of the hustle and bustle of Florence and is quiet. We would absolutely stay here again."

"I do not understand the previous reviews left about this place. yes it is old villa, exactly like shown in the pictures and description. Why some people expect a 5 star luxury experience i don't know. As per our stay, you cannot compare the price to other location in Florence (similar places charge 2x-3x more! The rooms were clean, air conditioning was old but managed to cool the room in a 35°C Florence. We had a view of Duomo from our room. No safe in the room but they have one in the managers office where we kept our valuables. Breakfast is great, there are boiled eggs, ham, cheese and lots of savory and sweet pastries. If you demand beans on toast, perhaps reconsider your vacation destination. Special thank you to Alex who serves the breakfast, very friendly, nice and helpful to all guests. Receptionists were also really helpful and friendly. Location may seem far but it has its benefits, really quite and calm neighborhood, fresh air and the bus only takes about 20-25 minutes to the center. Highly recommend especially for the listed price compared to alternatives"
