The staff at Las Colinas were wonderful. The hotel is located in town center of La Fortuna. I hardly used my vehicle while there. They provided laundry services, tour arrangement services and were available all night. There was a restaurant on the bottom floor that provided very good food. There was a variety store where you could purchase bottled water and alcohol, which you could take to your room or drink on the on the open air 2nd floor. There was a Supermacado around the corner for grocery purchases, if necessary. There were also many restaurants within walking distance nearby. If you have a rental vehicle they have a secured parking compound 200 metres down the street.

Front desk staff provided excellent travel recommendations. Location was in the center of town on a busy street, secure parking available in lot. Wlalking distance to shops, bank, restaurants, church, etc. Common area has street and volcano view. Would stay again.

Our room had vie of the volcano 👍 you'll hear traffic especially motorcycles til midnight, after that really quiet.If it's raining heavily,no traffic noise at all👍 overall a good and central place in La Fortuna.

Place is conveniently located. Walking distance to everything. Market at corner. Staff was great. Breakfast was limited but coffee was great each morning. 2nd floor patio was great with view of volcano and to grab fresh air. Downside was noise. The biggest highlight of this hotel is definitely the location. It’s in a prime downtown spot, we were within walking distance to shops and restaurants, which was super convenient. It was also close to all the popular excursions, and Ubers were inexpensive (usually around $5–$10), which made getting around really easy. The breakfast each morning was convenient and a nice perk to have included. Was pretty good. That said, the hotel itself felt quite old and looked more dated than the pictures online. Unfortunately, we also had a very large cockroach in our apartment during our stay, which was definitely unpleasant. The receptionist wasn’t particularly warm or welcoming either. Overall, the property isn’t amazing aesthetically, but the price was reasonable for the location. If you’re prioritizing convenience and affordability over luxury, it could work, just manage expectations.

1000000% recommended. Everyone was super nice and very accommodating to our two year old son. One of the staff even gave him a yellow balloon with a string to play with when she saw him crying. Ample space for my som to run around, close to everything you need, nice restaurant on the main floor, and comfy room with large windows to let natural light in. They are very patient with families and that for us was really appreciated!!!

We had to change the room 3 times, there was problem with shower water not flowing on the shower but rather on the bottom spout, didn’t get hot water in the shower and TV was not available in English. It was too noisy at night. Staff was very nice and tried to be helpful with all the issues. I also wish they offer variety in their breakfast. This property should be remodeled.

The hotel location is very central, great for walking to local restaurants. There was constant city noise though, with trucks and motorcycles at all hours of the night. The balcony room offered a great view, however, the room itself is quite dated. The shower head was corroded and the shower doors did not slide or stay shut properly. The pillows had very strange hard small lumps, like pieces of bones. The sleep quality was poor when you combine the noise and pillows. Breakfast was good most days, hit or miss with some items like the pancakes.
