"A good stay. The view of the eclipse from our hotel room was perfect. The room Was clean but needed touching up around the batjroom doorframe. Breakfast standard to good. We’d come here again. Oh underground garage has small spaces and difficult pillars. Rent a small car. SUV no good."

"Absolutely enchanting!! This is run by a couple with their kids and nephew - the took ruins and transformed it into a beautiful retreat for tourists. The suite was gorgeous and spacious. Loved the contrast of the dark wood and the stone/bricks. We had views of the mountains and it was so peaceful. Breakfast was included with delicious coffee and variety of baked goods, jambon, and fruit. The family is well traveled and it was lovely sharing stories of our travels. The owner recommended an ice cream shop in the next town with homemade ice cream - which we did and it was incredible (try the hazelnut and blueberry)! What a wonderful stay!"

"It’s a really unusual and unique place with stunning views of the mountains. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has lovely food. We had a lovely suite with a large window seat. The drive up is quite difficult as we had a larger vehicle. It would be good to advise guests of this in advance and/or provide an option at the bottom of the village lanes for parking. All in all we had a very memorable stay."
