Liked: Staff & service, amenities
Disliked: Cleanliness
The staff was nice and the hotel is in a good area - very walkable to the Tofukuji station that connects with the Gion District and the Imperial Palace. However, my shower curtain had mold all over it and there was something smeared on the wall and the bottom of the bathtub had dirt in it. The bed was also super hard so it was a little difficult for me to sleep but if you like a hard mattress you’ll sleep just fine.

The bidet spray was dirty so I opted to not use the bidet. The flush power of the bidet is very weak, going once i would need to flush a few times but even then it wouldnt flush everything. The washroom also had a mildewy smell and the shower curtains looked like it had a bit of mold. Please note the rooms are VERY small. If you have a checked bag theres only enough room to open one checked suitcase, any more and that won't work out. On the plus side the staff were great and efficient. Amenity drink options were plenty. The black tea was really delicious. I did like they had tv streaming services available to use for free.
Conveniently located by all the other hotels. Walls a bit thin and can get loud at night but otherwise everything else was great! Bus station right beside the hotel makes getting around easy!
Staff was so kind and patient helping my friend get to the hospital twice! Amenities like the coffee/juice station in the lobby and the washing+dryer is so convenient!
