Old beat up facility. Beds are terrible, heard water running trough the radiators all night long. Bathroom smelled of urine/feces although it was clean. No ventilation in bathroom. Chose because it was close to daughter, would not stay here again.

Airchange machine was off, although we asked to switch on it. Poor curtains, no cover for light. Bad quality pillows like in each and every hotel. No shower curtain at all in the bathroom. Quite minimal breakfast. I.e. Only one type of bread. Everything running to end all the time, we need to ask all the time something more. Good location, easy to go by bike everywhere. Budget price. Good isolation against noise. No voice heard from other rooms or outside of the room.

Perus budjettihotelli

Savonia on perus budjettihotelli. Kohtuulliset hinnat. Hotellin sijainti on hyvä, vaikka ei keskustassa olekaan: helppo tulla autolla (ilmainen parkkipaikka hotellin vieressä) tai linja-autolla, keskustaan ja Puijolle lyhyt matka. Kauppapalvelut aivan hotellin vieressä. Kivoja ulkoilureittejä lähellä (Puijo, Sammakkolammen alue) oli sitten kesä tai talvi.

Aamupalasta ja magneettijuovista miinusta

Aamupalalla oli kaikki loppu joka päivä. Selvästikkään ei oltu huomioitu Kuopiorock viikonlopun tuomaa väenpaljoutta aamupalla henkilöstöresursseissa. Magneettijuovalla toimivat avainkortit ovat huono ratkaisu hotellissa, jossa on suppeat vastaanoton aukioloajat.

Pidin paikasta, sinne oli helppo ajaa ja parkki vieressä. Respan henkilökunta otti hyvin vastaan. Huone oli siisti kauttaaltaan. Hinnasta jo voi päätellä, ettei luksusta tule, siisteys kyllä ok. Respa antoi hyviä ravintolavinkkejä kaupungilta. Aamupalalla ensimmäisenä aamuna puuro oli aika ”tönkkönä”, toisena aamuna ok. Pekonia en kolesterolivaivaisena kaivannutkaan. Yksin matkustavana oli mielenkiintoista seurata kanssamajoittuvia. Sydämeni vei ulkolainen n 1 1/2 v lapsi, joka riemuitsi isoista tiloista aamiaisella. Herkistyivät muutkin suomalaiset valloittavan hymyn ja kaikkivoipaisuuden edessä. Olin siis tyytyväinen. Jos Kuopioon reissuilla i matka vie, menen uudelleen.

Kaikki oli niinkuin luvattiin, siisti ja toimiva. Huone oli vähän kylmä ja antenninjohto tai sen pistoke reistaili, joten tv stä näkyi huonosti. Johdon uudelleen kytkeminen auttoi mutta se piti toistaa joka avauskerralla uudestaan.

Hotellihuone oli kuin 90-luvun toimisto vanhoine kaappeineen ja muine toimistohuonekaluineen, eli ei kovin viihtyisä. Seinät olivat ohuet eli muiden asiakkaiden kolistelu kuului läpi yön. Asiakaspalvelu oli kuitenkin erinomaisen lämminhenkinen ja ystävällinen, siitä täydet pisteet. Myös aamiainen oli hyvä, gluteenittomista tuotteista erityismaininta.

Mukava hotelli

Mukava rauhallinen hotelli. Hyvät ilmaiset parkkipaikat, aika lähellä kaupunkia. Kävelymatkan päässä ja bussit kulki hotellin edestä. Huoneet siistit ja isot. Aamupalalle olisin toivonut hieman lisää tuotteita. Tulemme varmasti uudelleenkin.

paikka oli rauhallinen, lukuunottamatta aamu kuudelta lauennutta palohälytystä. Aamiainen oli melkoisen surkea. Toisena aamunamme munakokkeli oli vetistä, täysin suolatonta mössöä, eikä aamupalalla ollut valikoimaa vihanneksista tai hedelmistä, vaikka elettiin parasta kesäaikaa. Leipänä tarjolla oli vain yhtä tummaa ruisleipää. Paikka sopii hyvin yöpymiseen, mutta hintaan nähden olisi odottanut hieman parempaa aamupalaa. Palvelu oli kuitenkin hyvin ystävällistä
