「At the time of writing, this hotel has a 9.2 on Expedia. That is truly absurd. This hotel is old (they don’t call it “historic” for nothing) and run down (featuring peeling wallpaper, a saggy matress, threadbare carpet and a kitchen that looks like it was built in the 80s). Making things worse, there is literally not a single thing of interest in Kumara (it only exists because it is a stop on the West Coast Wilderness Trail). 「This was a lovely property just what we needed and in a good location for town. The cleaning staff were absolutely lovely and very friendly and helpful. We loved the modern feel to the place and appliances whilst paying homage to it’s historical past as a fire station- highly recommend 」

「We were given an unexpected room upgrade from one triple to two ocean view rooms on arrival. The delicious dinners were offered on the covered patio overlooking the extensive flowering gardens and the ocean before our hosts treated us to an amphibious beach buggy ride at sunset. We finished the day relaxing in the hot tub. Wonderful day. They made it so easy to include everything they offered. Would highly recommend to anyone. 」

「Very close to township (drive 3 mins) and glowworm dell. Facilities are new and friendly use. Park located in the middle of resort, safe for taking care of children. Remember to bring your own body wash and shampoo (not provided). Everything is good and definitely will stay again!」

「Gute Lage zur Stadt, die Unterkunft war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Aufgrund der Lage etwas lsut, aber Ohropax war vom gastgeber bereitgestellt. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten: die Bettdecke im Einzelbett war zu groß, das ließ sich nicht gut schlafen. Zudem waren die scharfen Messer leider nicht mehr scharf. Und eine Kaffeemaschine für Pads macht ohne einen Grundvorrat an Pads wenig Sinn.」
