Had a 23 hour layover in Kuala lumpur and booked this place. Wasted 45 minutes at the checkin as no one was at the reception. Tried calling no one answered. Then again wasted 30 minutes while checking out. They said the reception open at 8 am but no one was there they showed up at 8:35 when I called and texted them. Again wasted 45 minutes. Plus when they showed up they were very rude. We wasted 1.5 hours of our very limited time plus left with a very bad mood.

Scammy vibes from the get go. We had to wait over 30 min to check in even though the desk was supposed to be open and we arrived during check in hours. Then staff asked us to the pay the full amount for our stay up front in cash. No other payment options were available. The Expedia listing says you can pay at check in via card but we were told to go to a ATM to get cash if we wanted to check in. Once we got to our room it wasn't ready (this was nearly 4pm) and we had to wait another 1hr for towels, finally we just grabbed some from the cleaning staff because we couldn't wait anymore. Do not book this place unless you like horrible service and a lack of basic amenities.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Sunday Hotel Susanna Suites. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and overall service were far below what I expected. When we arrived, the suite was very dirty. There were ants throughout the kitchen, making it unpleasant to prepare or store food. The rubbish bin still contained eggshells from previous guests, and we even found someone else’s shoes left in the cupboard, which made it clear the room had not been properly cleaned before our arrival. The bed sheets had blood stains on them, and there were not enough clean towels provided for our stay. The beds were also very uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, the level of housekeeping and customer service was unacceptable. The property did not appear to be cleaned or inspected properly, and our concerns were not handled satisfactorily. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made to both the cleanliness and the standard of service.

Great place to stay! Near restaurants, coffee shops and bars. Elevator(s) are slow because of so many people, have many elevators but only one operational at a time, so you'll be waiting alot. Wifi is slow! No hotel staff at night. Check- in and out were simple.

Så fort vi kom in först var det riktigt najs och stort, men sakta men säkert inser vi hur dåligt det var. Man slås av en äcklig lukt direkt när man kommer in. Warning: - Mr. Yin Min on Jul 6, 2026 said he lost his passport. How does losing and then finding your passport have anything to do with the quality of the property... and he gave a 10 rating? - MOHAMED on Feb 5, 2026 said the property was CLEAN. Upload photos, but only pictures of nearby attractions, not of the property!... See my last three photos. Money spent on exaggerated reviews is wasted and frustrating. For the same price, we stayed at great hotels in Malaysia and Indonesia and gave positive reviews, but this place is a dump. A major disappointment... PS. Expedia photos and amenities list are misleading. -TV did not work. (See photo) -The safe did not work(See photo) -The fan banged loudly(We left it off the whole time) -The balcony was misrepresented in the Expedia photos(It was 2' x 2.5'. It was too small to put a chair outside. See photo) -The AC remote had dead batteries. -There were minimal utensils in the kitchen(Don't plan on cooking anything! See photo) -Stains on the bed sheets. -The amenities list a hot tub, but it does not work(Staff said it was turned into a kids' pool) -Broken gym equipment (see photos). -The sauna had Black mold (See photo) -They asked for additional cash when we checked in with no assurances any part of it would be refunded. -Ants in the kitchen. -The description said there was a view of the pool(See photo) -Last 3 photos show dirt, water leaks, and mold in our room, as well as in a room I entered while housekeeping was cleaning.

This is a great property. I had the most wonderful view. Nice and clean. Great location but a bit of a walk to anything. Grab app doesn't work well for the location. Not super close to an lrt station. Still a lovely spot and would highly recommend. Cons- no one on site. Checkin is with the person in the cafe level 10 but that was hard to figure out. Had no idea what time the pool was open and the little cafe has odd hours for breakfast. But they do an excellent job, delicious.

300 usd stolen

While the room is beautiful, There are many problems with this facility. The worst is security. There in room lock did not work, so I was unable to put my cash in the safe. I just discovered I am missing 300 usd that I stashed in my backpack. I often travel with a stash of cash and always lock it up in the safe. This terrible place did not have a working safe, and I was screwed. I would never stay in this place again

Confirmation email had incorrect information on it. Said front desk closed at 10pm, luckily for us it was 11pm as per another booking sites information. Phone number in the email was inactive as was another number we tried from another booking site. No way to call. Suite cleanliness wasn’t the best. Mirror in bathroom was dirty, shower had a musty smell and floor has a fair few hairs on it that weren’t mine. Only 2 towels provided, no bath mat, no hand towel, no face cloths. Fridge wasn’t cleaned and wiped out from last people, no cloth or teatowel provided for the kitchen. The pool area and pool was lovely, but the few lounger chairs around were all broken. Wifi was a little intermittent

When we arrived at the property the check in was very poor. We got to the room and there where no towels anywhere so we had to contact reception to bring us towels up. When the towels arrived they were filthy dirty some of them which we ended up not using. The room was dirty and scruffy and some of the bed sheets were stained. In one of the bedrooms with the twin beds the floor was buckled and upon pressing it we could hear water underneath in which we informed reception. We had breakfast the next morning which was repulsive and we refused to eat the food and just walked out as the staff gave us no satisfaction. We informed reception they told us to take it up with Expedia so I am commenting now on our experience. I would keep well clear of the 3 bedroom apartment its not worth staying in any capacity. If Expedia can please contact us in relation it would be appreciated.

Excellent location and nice property but not well managed/ maintained. Cleanliness can improve 7/10, a bit of stale smell in the bathroom. Nice kitchen but poorly equipped - hardly anything usable for cooking (a very blunt knife, and a soup ladle), no tea towel (or paper towel), mush missy of limited cutleries and crockeries. Reception counter - ‘back in 5 mins’ sign is on the times I needed help. Had to call several times for response. Key return - suggestion is to set up a key drop box by the reception so that guests can drop the keys outside of reception hours. I was asked to pass keys to security guard with no one at security counter. Managed to find another security person, he doesn’t know anything about this system.

Dante imagined nine circles of hell. He missed one, and that circle is called the Sunday Hotel Near Petronas Twin Towers. We checked all the reviews and it looked great, but with new management comes new depths of gross incompetence. We booked through Expedia, were it stated we could pay on arrival and there was a breakfast buffet and pool available for guest use. Reviews said there was a a place to store luggage prior to check-in. This information was not correct Here are some bullet points. - the coffee machine and cafe accept credits cards, but reception ONLY accepts cash or bank transfers. You read that correctly. We were given directions to walk to an ATM. Those directions were completely wrong. It was 35 degrees Celsius. - despite booking a studio apartment for three adults, they only cut one key initially and insisted that was all that was possible. - the rooms were “made up” as long as you consider having no towels or spare toilet paper to be made up. Towels finally arrived after 7 hours of complaining. Toilet paper never did. - the buffet breakfast is a dingy cafe with four items on the menu and no buffet. All items arrived cold despite being there early. - the pool looks nice, but they left a closed sign up in front of it our entire stay with no explanation. -luggage storage is at a grocery, and costs extra. The staff did not even bother to tell us this much after saying they wouldn’t accept it. We had to ask. - WiFi is not reliable Stay anywhere else.
