The hotel has no AC. Our room was above the front of the hotel, where everyone gathered on the patio to drink and smoke. The noise and the smell were terrible. The room was hot, and to open the window your room smelled of smoke. We woke up at 6:30 am to the smell of smoke. How dreadful! We asked ...

Great little hotel with a great Italian restaurant
Not an exciting hotel but very pleasant, comfortable and convenient. With the Italian restaurant on the ground floor this was very tasty with a great menu and good service. The room was quite spacious with a clean and functional shower room and toilet.

Staying in an historic schloss in the eastern German countryside was a unique experience. The owner/manager was friendly and helpful, though communication was a bit disconnected at first. The Schloss is well off the beaten path - but very charming.
