    Staying in an historic schloss in the eastern German countryside was a unique experience. The owner/manager was friendly and helpful, though communication was a bit disconnected at first. The Schloss is well off the beaten path - but very charming.

    Kontakt war super freundlich! Man sieht dass der Wunsch einer schönen und interessanten Unterkunft gewünscht ist jedoch das Alter und ein paar Kleinigkeiten wie Kühlschrank leider zu gewesen und daher leicht verschmutzt, dem etwas im Weg stehen. In Summe war es gut. Preis Leistung passt nicht 100% das Schloss selber ist schön und mal was anderes

    Cat urine galore

    Everything and anything in the castle stinks with cat urine! The sanitation department should check this place. A cat killed a mouse right in front of us in the "lobby"... The "apartment" rented to us was not a true rental, it was someone else's full time apartment that was cleaned for us. It had all the articles of the owner. Really gross. The people who live and work there really try hard and are nice, but not disclosing the cat pee stink and the fact that the property was someone's permanent abode is very dishonest.

    Entsprach voll den Erwartungen

    Wenn man einen Aufenthalt in einem alten Schloß bucht, dann darf man keine Perfektion erwarten. Aber das macht den Charme und das Flair dieses Hotels aus. Man spürt das Alter des Gebäudes und der Anlage insgesamt sowie das Engagement der Schlossherren, mit denen wir uns sehr intensiv austauschen konnten.

    Very nice and with great passion renovated castle.

    Beautiful renovated castle in perfect location. Very friendly owner that fullfilled is dream to call his home castle. And it truly is. Very good breakfast, that doesn't leave any wish unfulfilled. Fresh breadrolls and different kinds of bread every morning. The sourrounding of the caste is like travelong back in time, just perfect and peacefull...... But you better become an early bird, Because at exact 04:30 Am the loud voice of an peacock will wake you up, Followed by chicken announcements of having eggs layed, (05:30 until 07:00 Am). Just a bit too much of nature for me. I do NEED my sleep.
