We found this hotel through TikTok and we are glad we did. The hotel was peaceful, staff were very kind and overall just a fabulous stay.

I enjoyed the clean room and helpful staff. Only thing was lugging the luggage down those particular steps was kind of annoying and the height of the loft ceiling for the bedroom was quite small (and I'm short myself).

Good Hotel

Great stay. Very nice hotel on the river that sways a small amount with the current and wind, which is interesting and different. Staff very helpful and friendly when asking about tours and surronding areas.

New Port Hotel was an amazing stay. So unique with beautiful views across the river, and a lovely atmosphere in the room. The staff were very friendly and responsive to messages. It is a bit of a walk to the sites of Krakow, but very manageable and worth it.

Beautiful view from our room!

We really enjoyed our stay at New Port Hotel. The staff was really friendly and gave us a late check out to prep for a wedding in the afternoon. The view is amazing. The front desk has coffee and food for the ducks which was a nice touch. The ceiling height upstairs may be an issue for anyone tall but it was fine for us. We were only upstairs to sleep. We would stay here again when back in Krakow.

It was nice being on the river but no access for taxis. Staff not very knowledgeable. A little too far from the centre. The website describes a bar and breakfast buffet but this is not on site, it is up several flights of not well maintained concrete steps, in a separate hotel.

Individual but not particularly comfortable

The positives - quirky, friendly reception, plentiful teabags and milk, river location (with ducks and swans on attendance) - 20-25 mins walk max from anywhere you may want to go - market, old Jewish quarter etc also, Hala Forum where you have breakfast is the best deal in Krakow - we wouldn’t have found it if we had been more central and it provided a variety of cuisines which were the freshest and best value we had anywhere. So downsides - the rooms. Tiny with small ensuite and little sofa downstairs then flimsy stairs to a mezzanine which was just big enough to accommodate standard double and one tiny bedside shelf, the worst thing being not big enough to stand upright and I’m only 5’5” - and sooo hot, even with fan. Room cleaning was random - sometimes towels, sometimes not but it didn’t look as if anything else was done outside if wiping glass in shower.

Great idea but staff is not so great

Amazing location. We were looking forward to wake up peacefully with the river views, and no rush since the breakfast was served until 1pm. Sadly that didn't happen. After first night we got woken up by consistent knocking at 9:45. I woke up walked down only to be asked if I need houskeeping. Like seriously empty rooms are being cleaned at 12:00 why do you wake your guests upat 9:45? Next day even worse at 8:30 we got woken up by a lady handing me over 6 bottles of water. I don't know if the lady did it to get tips, but all she got is not returning customers. I mean if I need something I would call and ask for it. I rather sleep thou. When we were checking out I was about to raise this with a lady at reception but she didn't even ask how was our stay and started looking after other clients who drank the whole minibar. Other clients got 15 percent of on direct booking, we were not even asked if all was okay. Our advice would be, use that do not disturb sign if you want to have a peaceful stay and you will love it.

If you are looking for something different, it's a perfect place. The hotel actually floats on the river, and you can (very rarely) feel the waves rocking it a tiny bit. The ceiling upstairs is quite low, but it's obvious from the pictures. It's within 20-30 min walk from the town centre and 5 min walk from the congress centre - perfect if you are in Krakow for a congress.
