Amazing and accommodating staff, super convenient area to stay in. Parking is sort of first come first serve so you might have to park elsewhere if the capacity of the lot is full.

The room was not ready until 6:00pm. The cleaning lady takes too long and wanted to clean the room the next day at 5:00pm..the service personal in the restauraunt were not friendly. The bread basket was empty and we asked for more and one said no..LOL crazy. Also the restaurant and bar was not opened in the evening. Otherwise the location is the best, right in the middle of all sightseeing events.

Can't fault the hotel, stayed for 3 nights slept like a log , breakfast was spot on and position of the hotel is perfect for anybody that want a hotel within walking distance of anywhere whether it be wawel castle, the square or kazmiers

Good hotel

Very clean room and staff were always welcoming and helpful. Only downfall was having a double bed but only a single duvet, think it would have been more comfortable having a duvet to fit the bed. Overall a nice hotel and great location.

Worn-out but clean hotel in a fantastic location

The Hotel Royal is in a truly royal location, just around the corner from the landmark Wawel castle and a short walk from both the town center and the old Jewish quarter. It is, however, desperately in need of renovation and modernization. That makes it perfect for the budget traveler, since a hotel in this location would ordinarily be either very expensive or very bad. The Royal is clean, pleasant, and "good enough" -- though run-down with very old furniture and fittings.

Stately old hotel, nice location, good parking

Nicely updated old hotel very close to the castle and the old town. Very comfortable bed, nice room, and also nice bathroom. A bit of noise due to the location on a busy street with trams and cars, but the noise insulation was pretty good, so it wasn't a problem with the window closed. The hallways were quite big and wide, and the grand staircase was also pretty impressive. The hotel does not look as grand inside as it no doubt once was, but it has been kept up nicely, and I really had no complaints. Did not look worn or neglected or anything like that. Very convenient private parking, which although it wasn't free, was the main reason I chose this hotel for my stay. I figured it wasn't easy to find decent private parking so close to the city center. Good breakfast, too. So all in all, a good choice for a decent hotel practically next to the castle, particularly if you travel by car.

Muy buen valor por el precio pagado. El hotel es un tanto viejo pero las instalaciones están muy bien mantenidas, las habitaciones son muy amplias, camas cómodas y el personal es muy amable. Me ayudaron sin problemas con unas necesidades que tuve y respondieron amablemente. La única contra es que mi habitación daba a la calle principal y era un tanto ruidosa por el tranvía.

Gammelt hotell, med store rom og veldig høyt under taket. Var skikkelig gamle tapet og gammel stil, men badet var ganske nytt. Lite dusjkabinett, men gikk greit. Litt lite varmt vann. Veldig god frokost. Alt i alt, et godt alternativ til hotell. Ligger veldig sentralt også, med Wawel slott rett ved, og nederst i gamlebyen. Trikken gikk rett utenfor så det var litt bråk, men gikk greit.

Emme päässeet kirjautumaan sisälle ennakkoon ilmoitettuna aikana, vaan meitä pyydettiin palamaan reilun puolen tunnin kuluessa.
