Great location in the old town, plenty of shops and restaurants around. We got the room in the top floor, very unique and big with a wonderful view of the sea. The hotel provided free parking just outside the walls which was helpful.

Room was spacious, clean and quiet. The castle wall is just outside the window so shades were normally closed. Front staff was great, would great you when you arrived and “have a nice day” as you exited. Breakfast was marginal. Order off a menu without a clear description of what you are ordering. Restaurant staff was un attentive, typical for the Balkans, however more so at this location, we sat and listened to a heated discussion between two employees one morning, who knows what it was about. Also, all the goods for the restaurant get delivered in the morning… through the restaurant.

Charming hotel with lovely views over the bay from one side and Kotor old town from the other. Amenities were slightly lacking for a 5* hotel, no coffee machine in the room and the toiletries were not high quality. Simple touches would make this a really lovely hotel. Breakfast was made to order and good quality, but the breakfast menu could do with a bit more description as it isn't very clear what everything is! (Montenegron burrito?) Reception staff were lovely and very helpful, staff in the restaurant were a bit more brusque. The restaurant has a lovely upstairs floor but this wasn't open so guests either sat outside or were squashed into the small downstairs bar area, another shame. The hotel has a fantastic location right in the old town but don't expect a lie in anywhere in the city, the church bells start ringing from 6am!

Incredible spot in Old Town Kotor. Staff was extremely helpful and understanding after spending hours getting into the city. If you have a car, make sure to ask for the 1 public parking spot they have.

There hotel is wonderful. Located near the Sea Gate for easy access, it only has 9 large rooms with names, not numbers. The interior is unique with quality marble in the spacious bathroom. The hotel is associated with a quality restaurant and breakfast can be eaten outside. Kotor's Old Town is magical and the Boutique Hotel Astoria is the perfect place to stay.

O hotel é bem localizado e os quartos são bonitos. A equipe nos ajudou a conseguir transporte de e para Dubrovnik. Mas nosso banheiro nao tinha água quente e a solução que deram foi tomarmos banho em outro quarto cerca de 30 minutos depois. Apesar do problema, não foi oferecida qualquer cortesia. O isolamento acústico do quarto também não é muito bom. Um dos banheiros femininos não tinha tampo no vaso sanitário. Para um hotel 5 estrelas considero que essas falhas merecem atenção. A equipe era simpática, o hotel confortável e bem localizado. O café da manhã foi bom

I loved the convenience of staying at the Boutique Hotel Astoria. I had restaurants, souvenir shops and tours without even leaving the Old town. I actually had an historic tour the last day I was there. The accommodations were great as well. The staff greeted me with courtesy and was very informative with helping me locate things to do. Very nice hotel.
