The staff were extremely knowledgeable and particularly helpful. The hotel has a boutique feel. The room’s furnishings and appointments were nicely done great condition. Staff are very kind. Location is perfect. Outside of the hotel, it's a little noisy at around mid night.

A nostalgic trip into the old city of Kosice
The room was quite & clean, the beds were very comfortable. The parking place is saved. The hotel is located in the old city, so it was amazing walking around days and nights. Kosice itself is a wonderful city. This was my third visit in Kosice , it improved a lot during last few years. I could say it was a nostalgic trip, I enjoyed it.

Great front seat and room service. Breakfast was very good with homemade breads/rolls. Room was clean, spacious, and bathroom and shower/tub. Location was on main walking area but quiet.

Nice Wellness retreat
The hotel is in great location, step straight out into the Main Street Hlavná. The front rooms can be noisy from people passing in street below(even in Oct). The Attic room which I had can feel cramped but it was clean and comfortable. Free car parking at rear. Breakfast is hot and cold buffet,limited choice but ok. Room furniture is a bit dated but overall the hotel is clean and modern. Reception staff very helpful and all speak English. A bonus is the Wellness room i.e. sauna, showers and hot tub which can be booked privately for a small charge. The in house restaurant was good, make sure you use the non smoking side. Lift available to all floors but there are no tea / coffee facilities in the room.

Fine if cigarette smoke does not bother you.
My main issue with this hotel is the fact that there is a smoking section inside the building. This means that inevitably there is that disgusting smoke smell permeating every room. You must pay extra to use the sauna. The location is very good though.

Great location in the historic city
Hotel has an excellent location in the city centre (on the main street that is a pedestrian only zone). The access by taxi or other car must be from the back located on a different street. You have to ring the bell to open the back gate. The hotel is nice and clean, friendly staff greets you with a voucher for a free drink in their bar. Buffet breakfast with a variety of hot/cold meals. My room was for single occupancy with 1 twin bed and not very inviting with windows to the courtyard but other (bigger) rooms are nice.

nice place to stay
hotel is a perfect place to stay right in the main center street. food was nice and wasn't expensive. shame about the smoking in the restaurant. staff very friendly and helpful. easy to get back to the airport on bus 23 if you don't want to pay for taxi. 30 cents or 10 to 20 Euros in a taxi. railway station 10 mins walk if you want to travel off. will stay again next trip.

Worst Accommodation and Service ever experienced!
It was the worst experience in a hotel ever. The room was smaller than the content of a shopping bag, ancient 70s furniture, worn towels, hardly space for luggage, only 3 (different) hangers. The service was non-existent, permanent WiFi problems, but the reception did not assist. Lift went out of order, no help to carry luggage down. The breakfast variety is sub-standard, no waiter available, not even eggs !!!

Stayed 2 nights in Kosice at the Ambassador. On the North end of the main square about 20 minutes walk from the train station. Nice, clean place with large bathroom. Breakfast was ok.

When in Košice, the Ambassador Hotel is the place
I arrived late one Sunday evening and experienced a little difficulty finding the parking space or the car park as the Brits say. Unless you know that it is directly behind the hotel( one block away) you might think otherwise due to the camouflaged gate . The staff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help me with things that I needed. I highly recommend this hotel if you need accommodations in Košice. Pan Štefan
