Koenigstein im Taunus is a cute town with a small pedestrian area in the center just a short walk below Koenigstein Castle. The castle was not a stuffy museum-like castle but a really fun place for the kids (and adults) to explore.

Everything was clean and the rooms are nice. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because of the misinformation on the website. I booked because of the airport shuttle since we were flying out the next morning, but when we arrived, we were told that they no longer offer a shuttle. If I had known that ...

Really funky, Brazilian themed hotel. Room was spacious, clean and well maintained. Tropical birdsong on leaving my room was lovely as were the caipirinha they served in the bar
