Koenigstein im Taunus is a cute town with a small pedestrian area in the center just a short walk below Koenigstein Castle. The castle was not a stuffy museum-like castle but a really fun place for the kids (and adults) to explore.

The room was very clean and spacious. We got to the apartment a bit before check-in and they were able to let us into our room which was great after a long flight.
