"Getting to the island involved catching the dedicated boat anchored offshore. Prepare to get wet! The journey was over an hour but with great views of Koh Ta Kiev island and others. We were welcomed by volunteers and Giovanni gave us a brief on arrival. We were shown to our accommodation which was just off the beach. If you have an opportunity to visit either Koh Rong, or Koh, Rong, Sanloem, this truly is the only place to stay! The rooms are basic, but extremely clean and housekeeping keeps them that way at all times, front desk is warm and welcoming! But for me, the best part of this hotel is the restaurant staff!! Sopha and Chanda who work in the morning and afternoon, are without a doubt the two finest servers I’ve ever encountered in my numerous travels around the world as well as being a hotelier for...

Six Senses Krabey Island

Six senses can only be described as a dream…. From arriving to the exclusive private ferry port I was greeted by an amazing view of several islands as I awaited for our private boat to whisk away on a 10 minute boat ride to our own private Gilligan’s island retreat called Krabey. Upon arriving we were greeted by the warmest staff and offered a ceremonial watering…. From there on we were given a thorough tour of the Island and its amenities which quite literally will sweep you off your feet…....

Well run spacious facility. We stayed in a room literally 20 feet from the sea lapping us to sleep after witnessing gorgeous sunsets. Excellent food and all staff were friendly and helpful. Almost everyone spoke at least some English and American dollars are the currency of choice, which made it easy for us American travelers. Beautiful white sand private beach with great swimming and lounging. We would go back in a heart beat.
