I stayed for one night.
Getting from the airport to Sannomiya Station was smooth, and the hotel is less than a 10-minute walk if you don’t get lost. However, there was construction around the station, so I had to take a detour and ended up taking about 20 minutes to arrive.
For check-in, I first filled out a form at the front desk and received a card, then completed the process again using a machine. After that, the room key and breakfast ticket were issued. It may feel like an extra step, but the front desk staff were very helpful, and some spoke fluent foreign languages, which made me feel at ease.
The room itself was very comfortable. However, as a solo female traveler, I was assigned a room right in front of the elevator, which made me feel quite uneasy. I could hear voices from the hallway, and it was difficult to fall asleep until late at night. I would appreciate a bit more consideration in room assignment for women traveling alone.
Regarding breakfast, I was advised to avoid the 8 a.m. hour due to group guests, so I went at 8:45. The selection was wide, everything was carefully prepared, and the food was very good. I was hoping to have some fruit or orange juice in the morning, but they were not available during my visit.
I would still be happy to stay here again when I visit Kobe.
