We are in love with this hotel

We first stayed here in 2017 when my girlfriend and I were a year into our relationship. We fell in love with the hotel and beautiful property. Knowing how much we loved it the first time we thought that staying here 7 years later would bring us back to the memories we had from our first stay. Well, 2024 blew away the previous stay. We LOVED our time again , and spent more time at the hotel relaxing than previous. Also we got engaged at the hotel too. The staff are so kind, and the facilities were top notch. We love Chantaramas

Relaxing resort

The hotel isn’t very well maintained. Our room had a strong moldy smell. The reception isn’t open 24/7 so you have to carry the key around. Also a lot of fines if something happens (we were ok). The pool area is amazing but the restaurant is 2/5. The breakfast is there but not great. We talked to some other guests and their rooms didn’t smell. So if I’d get one of them I’d probably recommend the hotel.

The hotel has nothing to do with the pictures, ist not up to date at all creating a decadent atmosphere , lack of people working, no lights at night and the pool area was super dirty.

Paradise - chilled vibe in this stunning beachfront resort. Relax beachfront in the cabanas overlooking a beautiful swimming g beach with the infinity pool behind or sit in the picture perfect restaurant with its day beds, swings, hammocks. Breakfast is superb buffet style, amazing smoothies and specialist juices all day and the restaurant food is delicious.

Beautiful property. A bit pricey but very peaceful and quite if that's what your looking for. Climbing the hill to get in and out is a bit annoying but other than that everything was great. Awesome staff and service, plus the rooms are amazing.

Terrible place.

Terrible place to stay. It’s far away from everything. We stayed next to a busy main road. Had to walk three floors up to get to our room. The pillow smelled terrible, the water ran out on the floor from the zink. The water in the shower was unstable and turning hot and cold all the time. The hotel is old and need to be fixed. The breakfast was not good and the explanation of things was missing. When we told the staff what was wrong they just simply turned mad, so we just kept our mouth shut and left the place.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel! May have been in the past, possibly before Covid, but many things in disrepair. No phone in the room for room service or even to talk to the front desk. No hand towels. Many things in disrepair, including pool deck and chairs. Had to wait 20 min for hot water every time we wanted to shower. Placed towel on the floor, meaning I needed a new one and housekeeping picked it up and placed back on the towel hook. Reception not open 24/7, so when people had music on their balcony at 6am was not able to report it. Location wise, also not ideal. Nothing near the hotel to eat, everything at least a 20 min walk to a restaurant. Overall, unless just looking for a place to crash after the full moon party, would not stay here again.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit tollem Pool und nettem Personal. Wir hatten auch das Frühstück dazugebucht, auch das können wir sehr empfehlen, war sehr lecker. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und hatte alles, was man brauchte. Das Hotel liegt allerdings bisschen abseits, deswegen haben wir uns einen Roller gemietet, weil wir auch viel von der Insel sehen wollten. Einen Roller hätte man auch über das Hotel ausleihen können, das haben wir allerdings erst zu spät erfahren sonst hätten wir das wahrscheinlich gemacht.

Große alte Anlage. Könnte man viel mehr daraus machen. Etwas mehr von hübscher Deko. Die Terrasse rund um den Pool war von Style zusammengewürfelt. Überhaupt nicht schön. Ebenso der gedeckte Tisch. Von Thailand sind wir freundlicheres Personal gewohnt und konnten fast kein Englisch.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt gut gefallen und wir haben noch 2 Tage verlängert. - Frühstück war sehr gut - Zimmer waren super, bis auf die Innendusche, durch den verkalkten Duschkopf kam kaum Wasser - man kann fussläufig Roller ausleihen - Hotel hat aber auch Roller für 250 THB/Tag angeboten
