Avoid This Place – Not Worth 2800 BAHT

When we arrived, there was no one at the reception. We had to shout for assistance, and eventually, the receptionist came out from their room where they had been sleeping. They handed us the key, showed us to the room, and then left. The room was gloomy, and the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. We also didn’t receive any towels at check-in. The bed was more like a cot and was impossible to sleep on. We only stayed one night. The entire place looked like a dump, and the pool was far too dirty to swim in. The atmosphere was also incredibly strange when we returned in the evening – not even a greeting from anyone. This stay was definitely not worth 2800 BAHT. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Expensive mold

After 24 hours of travelling both me and my girlfriend was a bit dissapointed when arriving to Exotic bungalows. So lets start with the negative things: -Room smelled mold and messed up my breathing the first days. Not healthy. -Bed was falling apart when arriving and was very unconfortable, there should have been one more mattress, sleeping on the springs wasnt that nice. Forced to get a bit drunk every night to be able to sleep :-) -Room looked a lot better in pictures, of course... -Bad lightning in the room. Just 3 very bright "spotlights" in the ceiling in the room, the led-lights around the ceiling pictured online did not work. It was full power or nothing at all. Not very cozy. -No place to put things in the bathroom, or anywhere else in the room, no hangers etc. There was a closet, but it smelled mold inside. -Very expensive for what you get. -Restaurant was always empty, not as pictured. Not sure if they even serve food. -Wifi worked on balcony, not very well inside the room. There was however some good things to say: +Staff was helpfull, fixed the broken bed and fixed the toilet when it wouldnt flush anymore. +Restaurants lack of guests made it quiet. +The small pool looked nice, never tried it though. Thats pretty much it. We stayed for 2 weeks just because we pre-paied for it. I think there are better places to stay in lonely beach.

Även fast boendet var billigt hade vi förväntat oss mer. Oengagerad personal som vi själva fick leta upp vid både in & utcheckning. Bokade deras bästa tillgängliga rum men rummet hade en ofräsch lukt. Pratade runt hos andra ställen i närområdet och det finns bättre bungalows för samma pris!

Quattro giorni di soppravvivenza

La struttura si trova in stato quasi di abbandono ristrutturazione le foto con cui viene visualizzata la struttura sono quelle di quando e stato aperto ora la reception è in manutenzione con l'operaio che sta ristrutturando il pavimento i tetti dei bungalow sono in molti punti rotti o danneggiati nella mia stanza una delux superior il letto e le coperte erano in alcuni punti rotte o sporche la vernice sulle pareti scomodità e in alcuni punti era presente la muffa in tutta la danza non è presente una sedia o panca su cui appoggiare i vestiti (e presente solo un comodino in bambù (dalle foto si poteva vedere anche un armadio). Per il bagno abbastanza ordinato ma con il riscaldatore Dell acqua attaccato in modo provvisorio e macchie di muffa del soffitto oltre a questo un odore nauseante proveniente dallo scarico della doccia che dopo l'uso era tassativo chiudere con li contenitore della spazzatura In definitiva la mia esperienza nel gennaio del 2019 e stata negativa da sopravvivenza un vero peccato perché la struttura se curata e gestita da personale competente potrebbe essere veramente da 3 stelle quelle ora dichiarate sono fasulle e totalmente fuorvianti....

We have stayed many times at Exotic Bungalows. Nice pool, good A/C, clean. Close enough to all you need in lonely beach but far enough away that the noise doesn't keep you up at night. Bonus monkeys coming through every morning!

Avlopps stank i rummet. Kylskåpet luktade fisk. Taket i badrummet på väg att lossna. En till synes ointresserad thailändare som jobbade ensam på stället. Restaurangen verkade vara stängd. Stort rum. Bra säng om du som oss gillar hårda sängar. Liten men fin pool. Centralt läge. 10 min gångavstånd till stranden.

Verouderde accomodatie.

Ondanks een gastvrij jong echtpaar uit Cambodja dat voor de ontvangst en accomodatie zorgt een teleurstellende ervaring. Bungalows hebben duidelijk hun beste tijd gehad, zo ook de entree en het zwembad. Ben dan ook maar 2 dan in plaats van de geboekte 4 nachten gebleven.

Vi hamnade i ett rum på baksidan. Flera trappor upp i väldigt dålig belysning, höga stup bredvid utan staket. Trappstegen var i olika höjd vilket gjorde att jag snubblade och höll på att flyga rätt utför. Sängen var trasig och madrassen stenhård. Hotellet har nog haft sina glansdagar men nu kändes det mest skabbigt. Ljuden från grannarnas "nattaktiviteter" var inte heller ett positivt inslag. Läget var dock bra då det låg mitt i centrum i en mysig liten "by". En bit att gå till stranden men acceptabelt.

Dåligt

Efter att snabbt näst några recensioner här så bokade vi tyvärr detta osett (3 nätter) Hotellets läge är det inget fel på. På gatan utanför finns allt. Restauranger affärer barer m.m. En kort promenad till stranden (ca 5min) Nu till hotellet: vi fick en bungalow nära poolen. Där var det "mögelrosor" i taket. Gardinstången ramlade ner när killen som visade oss rummet skulle dra för gardinen. Det fanns ingenstans att lägga/hänga upp kläder eller saker. Inte en enda krok eller galge. Sängen var fruktansvärd. Så sliten att man låg på fjädrarna. Det var hemskt. Den gick sedan sönder (någon lagning brakade under) Vi fick ett nytt rum. Där luktade det mögel och väggarna var fulla med intorkade stänk och fläckar. En ihopsnikrad säng..Handfatet satt löst. Stängde vi dörren till badrummet fick det lite bättre. vi lämnade hotellet dagen efter. Tycker inte att någon ska bo såhär dåligt. Det finns bättre ställen! Skulle aldrig rekommendera detta till någon!!!

Vi hadde booket en natt fortidlig, og vi kunne verken finne en web side eller e-Mail adresse å kontakte for å varsle om dette. Tlf svarte de ikke på. Men da vi kom endret de på dette så vi fikk alle de nettene vi hadde betalt for uten at vi spurte. Det kaller jeg service. Hyggelig personal. Rengjøring hver dag med nye håndklær. Luktet noe surt på rommet, siden luftfuktigheten er så hly at ingenting tørker skikkelig.

Not what we expected.

The establishment was a bit untidy and unfinished in places, although this was the off season. The rooms had everything described but were a bit bare. The beds were very hard and one bed collapsed when my friend sat on it and he had to be given a new room. I wouldn't recommend Exotic Bungalows as there are better cleaner establishments nearby for a similar price. However the staff were friendly and it was near to some good bars and restaurants.

Bra ställe!

Trevlig personal och snabbt, gratis wi-fi. Många restauranger i närheten, dock var det en bit till stranden. Liten men kall och skön pool, men få solstolar och mycket skugga. Sängen var helt okej och AC funkade mycket bra.

Great location in Lonely Beach

Very spacious room with good air con. We were able to rent a motorbike from the hotel which was convenient. The hotel is located very close to dozens of bars and restaurants but rooms are far enough back from the road that you do not hear street noise at night.

Hotel ligt vlakbij het uitgaansgebied. Maar dat is het enige positieve voor mij. De kamer was ronduit smerig. Stonk muf en is nodig aan een opknapbeurt toe De fotos zeggen genoeg
