Our room was lovely. Lots of space, big bathroom, nice shower, beautiful view over the sea, pool is gorgeous and although limited beds next to the pool there was none of this silly behaviour of reserving beds when not using them. Pool towels provided. There’s lots more beds down by the sea and bar area anyway which is great. The staff very nice. Resident cats very cute. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you. Just wish the elephant camps would become sanctuaries on the island. Nothing to do with the hotel though but that sadness won’t leave my mind.

A lovely hotel in the middle of Kae Bae Beach on Koh Chang. Lots of restaurants, bars, shopping, and massage shops all within easy walking distance. The hotel itself is great, with most (all?) rooms facing a gorgeous pool, or out towards the sea. My room was nice and large, with a great balcony that was great to sit on, or even lie down on a large sun bed. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. And be sure to take advantage of the restaurant’s happy hour (which lasted something like 6-7 hours!), with a long list of cocktails to choose from…

I stayed with my family and brother family for five days. Very nice and friendly staff. Pool was very long and nice. Even if it is in need of some maintenance. The only disappointment was they closed the main restaurant by the water. We where looking forward to eat breakfast and also having dinner by the sunset.

The staff working at the front desk are all very nice and helpful. Love talking to them all. The breakfast overall is good, and the pool is nice and clean. We also rented the canoe from the staff and had a great time.

Amazing stay

Very nice hotel with a very chill atmosphere. They will do everything to make your stay pleasant. We stayed here several times along the years. We got an upgrade and stayed in an amazing suite with beach view. It was very convenient with our small kids - and the room was so beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

Good location, great price value

My stay at the AWA was wonderful. We had a room overlooking the beach with beautiful view. Hotel has a great pool and beach space. Spa is top notch, best Thai massage overlooking the ocean. We were surprised by a nice NYE party, as not all hotels in the island offer one. We were overall very pleased with our stay.

From check in to check out it was absolutely fantastic! Ocean view from my room was truly amazing! Staff were beyond excellent and the breakfast was so good! I stayed during low season so I got a good deal! I would love to go back there! Plenty of great dining options near the property!

The design of this hotel is like something from Grand Designs, high ceilings and walls all pointing towards the lovely pool and beach area to watch the great sunsets. However, rooms are a little tired and dated, all the metal balcony railing were corroded, and there was a musty smell in our room.
