「One of our most favorite stays. Definitely I place to stay several nights if you have the time. Owners live at property and take immaculate care of the extensive garden . You wake up to view the gardens and sweet birds singing. Beyond the gardens are kayaks padding. Rooms are extremely comfortable with a welcoming kitchenette. Walked to The "Girls" restaurant for dinner & drinks and felt completely safe. The hikes & surf in this piece of paradise with keep you busy.」

「The hosts were incredibly kind and willing to accommodate us. The area was quiet and surrounded by nature. You fall asleep to the sound of frogs croaking in the distance and wake up to bird-song. The cabin is very clean and well taken care of and had everything we needed. We ordered the extra breakfast, and it was enough food to last us our whole stay! I couldn't be happier. If we ever visit Knysna again, there is no other place we would rather stay. It was truly a magical, rejuvenating...

「This stay was so wonderful - thanks to friendly and helpful staff who were very responsive to issues, and an amazing farm tour and activities. One disappointment is we were not able to bike as there were no kids' size bikes available. Also, consider supplying the AfriCamps tents with citronella candles to help keep mosquitos away when outside in the evenings.」

「The dog, Reacher, is super friendly. Water is only rain water so must be used sparingly. The little space is great for a short stay but would be cramped for extended periods. Beautiful garden with little pond right on your doorstep, but careful of wasps. 」

「Alida and her husband welcomed us on first arrival and continued to make us welcome throughout our stay. There was a useful welcome pack and everything was as advertised. The shady verandah was wonderful complete with copious birds including cape sugarbirds and sunbirds visiting the feeders. The home made melk tart was delicious and very welcome. A lovely stay we highly recommend. 」

「Die Unterkunft war der Hammer! Es war einfach nur ein Traum. Die Angestellten waren sehr zuvorkommend, die Aussicht der Hammer. Wir können Camp Figtree und den Addo nur empfehlen. Genauso können wir die vom Camp organisierte Safari durch den Addo empfehlen. Weiter so!!」

「We had a magical stay in Firefly cabin. It was tranquil with a delightful view. The wood burning stove was essential and perfect. Great location for visiting the nearby wildlife sanctuaries.」

「Great place to say between Oudtshoorn and Calitzdorp. Owners are very helpful and accommodating. Cottages are old and quaint but in a very peaceful setting.」

「Die gesamte Unterkunft ist etwas in die Tage gekommen. Wir haben keine großen Ansprüche und so war das in punkto Sauberkeit halbwegs in Ordnung, aber doch schon an der Grenze. Der Pool ist mit Salzwasser gefühlt, zu unserem Erstaunen vielleicht sogar noch etwas salziger als das Meer. Für eine, maximal zwei Nächte ist der Platz in Ordnung.」

「We had a very great stay in 88 Baron van Reede Guesthouse. Hugh and Zoe are so kind and lovely. They are very helpful and gave us a lot of information about sightseeing and good food. We like them and enjoy Oudtshoorn very much.」
