We really enjoyed our stay here. All of the staff was so incredibly kind and helpful. We were a little worried about staying further out from the main “downtown” and the Ubers do add up but honestly it was a wash with what we saved on breakfast and dinner being included. Plus the grounds were so enjoyable and peaceful with multiple things to do. There is a free shuttle bus that we utilized once, the timing of the schedule didn’t really help us out all that much. The rooms were small but clean. Cleaning service didn’t come while you’re staying but we didn’t really mind. We were disappointed that we couldn’t get the sauna at the hotel working and loads of dirty towels seemed to be piling up daily in the back of the hotel on the bench near the sauna. But regardless we’d stay again and suggest it to others.

Beautifully decorated warm, spacious, cosy cabin with sauna, 10 mins from Levi. In the grounds of Elves Hideaway. Only downside was checkin. We arrived late and were given the passcode to open the keybox but absolutely no directions to find the cabin which was not at all easy in the dark. Everything else great, saw the northern lights from our front door :)

Elves House leider unbrauchbar

Wir waren im tontun Tupa (elves house) untergebracht. Leider entsprach dies in keinster Weise unseren Erwartungen. Aber von vorne: Checkin ab 16:00 möglich, aber der Check In schliesst um 16:00 ? Ahja, macht natürlich Sinn. Nach einer kurzen Diskussion das dies keinen Sinn macht, wurde uns das Zimmer um 15:30 gegeben. Aussage, es müsse noch gereinigt werden, da vorher die Angestellten drin lebten. Von aussen ein wunderschönes kleines Häusschen, leider von Innen sehr dreckig. Küche, musste komplett von uns gereinigt werden, kühlschrank noch verdreckt, Teller / Gläser dreckig. Wir bekamen ab dem ersten Tag Schnupfen, Husten, Kopfschmerzen. Am 2ten Tag Abends bemerkten wir das es an der Unterkunft liegt und keine Erkältung vorlag. Leider hat uns die "Rezeption" vom Tontulla Elves Village nicht verstanden und wir haben eine Beschwerde über Hotels.com initiiert. Am nächsten Morgen haben wir dann parallel dazu die Rezeption von der Muttergesellschaft Hulu Poro erreicht und uns wurde ohne weiteres eine Unterkunft im Hotel Hulu Poro in Levi gegeben. Vielen Dank hierfür! Die Umgebung vom Elves Villiage ist ein Traum! Super schön angelegt und das Elfendorf ist echt für die Kinder fantastisch, aber in diesem Elfen Haus sollte man Grundlegend über a) Hygiene und b) Renovierung nachdenken. Das gelbe Material (Gelbwolle oder was auch immer) wird vermutlich für die allergische Reaktion verwantwortlich gewesen sein. Im neuen Hotel sofort keinerlei Probleme mehr Vielen Dank an Hotels.com

I definitely recommend this place, BUT.....

This property is beautiful! I went for Christmas and it was so much fun:) however....if you are checking in later in the evening, DO NOT just show up! I got in around midnight & there was no one to be found. Luckily my cab driver was very kind & stuck around for over an hour trying to help. Eventually we found the (non English speaking) maintenance man to let us inside the building, where I almost ended up sleeping on the lobby couch! Found out Our room had been given away since we showed up super late. Eventually we got in touch with the owner & they found a spot for us to sleep. ... it definitely added a bit of frustration to the day, since we had been up traveling over 24hours and the airline had lost out bags! ... aside from this miscommunication, it really was a great place to stay. And also, they have delicious gourmet doughnuts 😋 (which they gave to us for free as an apology for the mishap). I definitely recommend this place! But if you are showing up after 4pm, reach out to them beforehand with a plan in place so you do not end up like me, stranded with no luggage outside the building at 1am.

Süßes Hotel, das aussieht wie ein kleines eigenes Dorf mit kleinen Holzhütten direkt neben einem Wald und einem See gelegen. Das Hotel ist urig eingerichtet und das Personal trägt bestimmte Gewänder die aussehen wie Elfen. Allsgemein fühlt man sich dort wir in einem kleinen Elfendorf. Es gibt eine Sauna sowie einen sehr großen Außenbereich mit Rentoeren, Ponys und einem kleinen beleuchteten Wanderweg durch den Wald. Das ganze Hotel und das drum herum ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Das Frühstück war top und das Personal sehr freundlich. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt ist, dass es keinen Fernseher auf dem Zimmer gab.
