「We enjoyed our one night stay. We needed an escape from our city life and took advantage of the screened in porch and riverside setting. We had a take out dinner on the picnic table by the river and the kind owner helped us light the firepit. We did have to clean off the table and chairs but understand it’s hard to maintain with all the trees and pollen. The room was immaculate and modern but retained some cool old school touches. 「Went to checknin at 4; rooms not ready. Was told “we can’t give you a time when it will be.” Um, it’s your 4 pm check in. Waited and went back at 4:35 pm and li e as I wasn’t only one. It’s summertime; no bar at pool and although advertised on website, no bar, coffee, etc. “Sorry, there’s no service.” Rooms are so no frills and hotel newish; paint needs redoing, TV didn’t work. Too many other hotels in the area.」
