"Great place and a great location, walking distance to several shops and stores. English speaking staff was very helpful. emart is located inside the hotel building and a CU mart across the street. Location is probably 20-25 min walk to Myeongdong district. Bar stools inside the room were very uncomfortable and hard wood. A bit pricey hotel for the location but something to consider for a short taxi/uber rides to majority of the touristy destination."

"I always choose Amid hotel because of its location and the amazing staff. If you enjoy the cultural sights in Seoul, you have to stay in this area. The hotel location close to the subway and major bus routes makes it ideal. There’s a short walk to the airport limo bus but it is paved, level and easy walking. The staff at Amid hotel are so helpful and accommodating. There’s the usual list of hotel amenities that they loan out if needed. They store baggage and help with taxis and directions. The staff speak good English and other languages too. The room is spacious (for big city standards), comfortable, clean and well maintained. This was my second stay and I look forward to coming back again soon."

"An absolutely fantastic located hotel that, if I visit Seoul again, I will be wanting to stay one more time. The rooms were well sized with lots of in room amenities (kettle, tea/coffee, hairdryer, ice bucket) that made arriving a breeze. The breakfast that was part of my booking was top notch. A very large selection of eastern and western options and (as I discovered two days in) a fabulous custom order omelette/egg request station. It made for a very good start to the day. I was impressed with the location, with the main craft shopping street immediately behind and accessible from the hotel. There are so many places to eat and grab snacks. The hotel also had a free guided tour being publicised on the in lobby screens, featuring visiting the Palaces amongst other places. TL:DR - an absolutely brilliant location, great nights sleep and 100% recommend."

"Me and my husband absolutely love staying at this hotel everytime we are in Seoul. Very convenient in terms of location to transportation: the airport limousine bus drops off a minute away, station access within a couple minutes, and bus stops just a few steps from the entrance of the hotel. There is also a port cochere for easy taxi or car drop offs and pick ups. There is a plethora of food options in every direction, including some nightlife one street behind the hotel. This hotel’s staff is always friendly and respectful, extremely clean, and has a nice view of Gyeongbokgung Palace and the surrounding city. The room size is enough for a couple. We got a room where the toilet room and shower room were separate so that was a plus. One of my favorite amenities that they provide are collagen eye masks which are perfect when you’ve traveled for hours and need a refresh. Highly recommend this hotel for short or long stays. We can’t wait for our next trip to the Hotel Gracery Seoul!"
