Breakfast was one of the best we've had in the UK and comes with so many different options. We had booked a cost double room but didn't feel that small to be fair. They were cleaned daily and the bed was so comfortable. There is no doubt that if we come back to the Lake District, this would be where we would stay again.」

「The accommodation was fantastic - we stayed in the two bed apartment. Loved the decor and the very soft carpet which really added a special touch. The views are amazing looking out onto fields of sheep. It's extremely quiet, being the apartment at the back end of the accommodations. 「5 stars are not enough for the George and Dragon - the absolute best care and hospitality can be found here! Such a gem in a beautiful village with so much history. All the staff were so kind and accommodating, and the food was delicious and generous portions. Only place open for dinner in the evening so be sure to reserve! Highly highly recommend. 」
