Really attentive and caring hotel management. We asked for a recommendation where to go with no much time for a sightseeing and they suggested us to go to Watermillock via A592, and it was absolutely breathtakingly stunning. I was so happy for the recommendation and grateful for the recommendation. The hotel is very charming and located in a nice quite place. The breakfast was very thoughtful and the service was excellent. Thank you so much.

The property is dark and old fashioned in decoration. The owners gave strict rules about arrival and what you can do whilst there. It felt uncomfortable. The room was ok albeit small. It was not good value for money. Location was great.

Beaumont House really disappointed us!

We were extremely disappointed with Beaumont House .. first impression of the details listed for the accommodation are 5 star with breakfast and an off-site health club with spar etc. The reality was quite different and extremely disappointing! Firstly, the breakfast was continental, but the most limited continental we have ever experienced! Some assorted cheap cereal, a bowl of mixed tinned fruit, jams & marmalades, rather cool toast ... but nothing nice e.g. croissants hams, cheeses etc., a rather mean version of continental! An upgrade to full English was either £20 or £30, dependant on whether pre-booked! The Spar / pool and health club was to our shock and dismay a couple of miles away and nearly 30 minutes walk (we had not travelled by car!) A none-entity to us! We had incorrectly assumed it would be nearby! It was a special occasion for my wife & I, so we decided to treat ourselves to a room upgrade, and paid substantially for a 'Deluxe room' We found ourselves in a loft room on the 3rd floor (no lift)with a bathroom built into the room (absorbing aprox/ a third or more of our room! There was not much room left .. and with a sloping ceiling low over our heads, it was certainly a huge disappointment, If this room was 'deluxe', in a 5* premises, I would hate to have seen the standard room? I also found the double bed disappointing, too firm, pillows felt hard and worn out as did the alleged 'thick pile luxury carpet! The door handle to the integral bathroom was loose.

Great stay with Great hosts

This guest house is more than a house - it's a home. The hosts were very hospitable and detailed with their service to their guests. We booked several rooms and all rooms were unique in itself. Rooms were large and very tidy. There is even a garden where guests could spend time catching up. Breakfast was generous and choices were ample enough. This house is just a 3 min walk to the town amd to the bus stop. This is a great experience for us and we will definitely stay here again if we happen to be back in Windermere. Excellent Windermere accommodation house

Excellent accommodation in Windermere. Old world charm and excellent hosts made our 3 day visit enjoyable. Breakfast was part of our price and was excellent home cooked meals ready for the coming day. Excellent hot water from the shower!

An excellent stay

We stayed for 4 nights. We found the hosts welcoming and attentive. The hotel was clean and comfortable with everything we needed including on site free parking. The location was perfect for the town and walking. Several breakfast options were available. We are returning later this year.

Lovely guest house in an excellent setting

We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. My room was spotless, comfortable and very pleasant. After a long days golf the hot shower and lovely fluffy towels were most most welcome. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Beaumont House.

You will love this

Hi we arrived after a ferry crossing from Belfast and then a very long drive down. Friendly. Welcomed at the door. Red or white wine Mr Burns. This was the week of the record heatwave so every person was struggling but the staff. Fan to room. Ice for my G and T. I would have loved air conditioning and a fridge in the room but lets be realistic the weather was extreme and its a very good B+B
