"The room was ok, with good views of the lake, but found lots of creepy crawlies and insects in our room one inside bed, and one inside of a folded towel, the food was not that brill, we ordered prawn curry but they gave us shrimps, with watery gravy, probably ok for the locals. "

"Our rooms were disgusting, so much so that we ended up not paying. There was a new manager one week into his job, he was very apologetic but could do nothing about the multiple issues. The room was full of insects, furniture falling apart, we had a lamp with no electric cable attached, it looked like the rooms had been added to the building at a later date and work was still going on. The stairs up had electric wires hanging out and dangerous drops where railings should be protected by nailed on...

"The Managers were absolutely wonderful. So friendly, caring, so thoughtful, and so polite. Rooms were enormous with Four Poster Bed. Surrounded by Nature. Morning call from Peacocks, sunset, evening muted Elephant calls. Food requests honoured and the cooking was magic. Breakfast FoC and as much as a Wrestler could possibly eat. Take the family, enjoy the best of Sri Lankan hospitality. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, and I have traveled the World, stayed at the No.1 Hotels in...

"Hi, the property was nice, but in the middle of the rice fields. They did not serve dinner, so you have to take a tuktuk to town. The room itself was large and beautiful, but the AC did not work and there was no fridge in the room."

"This is a tiny gem, don't expect any luxuries but it is well worth a stay if you are in the Yala area for a safari. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and accomodate your every need. Special thanks to Pravin, he is just seventeen at the time I'm writing this, speaks just a little english but was smart enough to whip out the translate app on his phone and we had fun communcating back and forth on that!"
