「Really loved out stay at Little Mell Fell. Great instructions to find it. Set up really well for either a couple or a family of 4. Love that it's pet friendly. Was really clean and felt relatively recently done. The location was great to get around Ullswater and out to the surrounding lakes. 」

「Our stay at the New Inn 1730 was only overnight, and we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. This is a welcoming & friendly pub, with restaurant and accommodation. The owner did his best to accommodate our needs during our short stay, and is still finding his feet a little having only recently taken on the business. Food options were limited when we arrived, particularly for our two fussy children, so we did eat elsewhere that night, but the cooked breakfast in the morning was very good,...

「Very pleasant small property. 5 mins walk from central Ambleside. Well equipped and warm. Perhaps a bit small for a family of 4 but great for two people. Nicely decorated with thoughtful touches. Only one parking space but a car park 4 mins walk down the hill. Would recommend.」

「The property was immaculate. Every room was very clean and tidy. Very comfortable for 2 adults, not sure how 4 adults would feel as it might be a bit on the small side, especially if you are tall people as the ceilings are low. Parking might be a bit tricky. There is space outside for one car, although the road is narrow at that point. There seems to be space on the next road along though, or as the owner suggests in the nearby pay carpark. 「Lovely cottage with all the amenities that we required. Situated in a quiet village within close proximity of Penrith. Nice welcome box with tea, coffee etc and even treats for the dog. Good offroad parking at the back of the cottage and an enclosed front garden. Stayed for a week, excellent location for exploring Hadrians wall, lake district and yorkshire dales. 」

「Luke's Hoose felt really homely as soon as we opened the door. Great views from the elevated living room, looking over the town and hills beyond. So close to the main street so was easy to access all the shops, bars etc.」
